Sturdy and Beautiful

Purchased April 2019. For two years this has been mostly an outdoor planter. Sun, rain, freezing weather. It has not only endured it, but continues to look beautiful. I would heartily recommend Lechuza planters as production or decorative planters. Cleaning in between plantings with plain dish soap is just fine. The inner liner is very easy to clean with a cotton cloth and a toothbrush on the underside. The outside and insides do not scratch easily. I have moved multiple times and they are always easy to put together and change plants. The removable plugs allowed me to use this planter as a tomato pot in winter inside the greenhouse.

I love the look of these planters but due to their design they are very top heavy. Mine kept blowing over in the wind causing the soil to spill out and i'm sure the rocks in the bottom are displaced by now. Luckily the plants in them were cheap and annuals so I didn't mind that they got a little damaged in the fall. For the price, I wish they would have a weight in the bottom to stop this from happening. I'll try again next year with a rock inside for stability.

Lechuza Cubico

This Lechuza Cubico is perfect for my Hoya Bella which does best if it never runs out of water. In the old pot i could not water it enough. The reservoir of water ensures that it is never dry.

Best thought-out self watering planters!

Unlike some reviewers, I found the (only drawings) instructions extremely easy to follow and self-explanatory. It took minutes to assemble, and the result is a super sturdy, handsome planter that provides lots of room for my plants. Note that you only remove the two little plugs if you place the planter outdoor, so it will drain if there is excess rain. You keep them in so there is no leakage when the planter is indoor. I will buy future planters from this superb brand, great value for money.

Missing pieces but otherwise works well

Ordered 2 of these. First one was great. Second one arrived with no water level indicator and missing half of the product. Didn’t want to return as there was no others. So I’m keeping an eye on my first pot for the water level
