compact well built compatible with Weber Q series grill

I replaced my weak regulator with a GasOne regulator + hose. Works well and this was a perfect adapter. It's a bit pricey for a small piece of perfectly machined brass but if it's hard to find and compatible, it's money well spent. This fit onto where the existing regulator unscrewed and the new hose. I ended up getting an 8' hose which wraps around the base of my Q1200 twice. Gives a bit of extra length so the propane tank doesn't have to be right next to the grill.

Worked great on my Weber grill

Worked great for getting rid of the ridiculously priced weber regulator. I just un-twisted the Weber regulator and installed this part in the hole. Now I can use any standard low pressure propane barbecue hose. I’m using one off of my old camp chef. No more non adjustable low flame issues with my Weber Q 1000.

Best Part for the Weber Q Regulator Conversion

Like everyone else said, does what it is supposed to do to safely and easily get a standard 3/8" gas regulator hose to fit the weber burner. Use a few wraps of PTFE and tighten it on and there should be no leaks. I previously used 3-4 different connectors from Lowe's and simply couldn't get it to work without leaking. This single small part is definitely overpriced, but it's the best part for this job.

Hard To Find Fitting

Used this fitting to solve the low gas flow problem with my Weber Q grill. You won't likely find this at your local hardware store - glad Amazon had it. The Weber gas valve screws into the 1/8" female pipe thread end and you connect a new hose/regulator to the 3/8" flare end of the fitting, and then connect the other end of the hose to your 20 or 30 lb. propane tank. Made a tremendous difference in my grill's performance. Without this item, you'll have to do it in two or three steps and buy multiple fittings. More expensive and more potential for leaks.

Perfect fit and inexpensive part.

This product was a perfect fit for the replacement part that I needed for my gas grill. Threads were just right. None of the hardware stores I went to had this part. Great value for the money. I would recommend this product.

Not for my 5th wheel camper

I bought this fitting to convert my 5th wheel to a 100# lp tank, the quality is fine just don't work for that kind of conversation I needed, looks to be good quality not going to work for my project.

Webber Q series regulator issue

The Regulator died on my Weber Q100. Of note is that I've never had a regulator go on any other BBQ I've owned, but the igniter still works. I replaced the regulator with this LASCO17-4627 adapter and a new hose by Shinestar, that comes with a regulator. You can see in the pics where you need to separate the regulator from the gas valve. The easiest way to do this is by removing the whole dial, valve and regulator unit. This is done by removing the 2 screws where it attaches to the handle and the nut located behind the large dial. Remember to use PTFE pipe thread tape for this mini job. I bought the exact same stuff (260") recommenced above for $1.15 elsewhere, online in Canada. If your new hose's regulator has an adjustable flow dial, remember to turn it on. I had forgotten. I'm very happy with this purchase. $11.60 is a bit steep for this, but I won't complain considering the speed of delivery and the outcome of this purchase. I'm BBQing again!!! Cheers Gary
