IT WORKS!!!!
My garbage disposal stopped working/spinning although I could hear it still had power. I have seen people pull some pretty funny tricks to unstick their disposal, but nothing was working for me. I did a little research and chose this product. Less than 20 seconds later...I have a functioning disposal again! The arm is movable and you angle it down into your disposal, then seat it against the bottom where you find it will brace nicely against the prongs inside the grinder. I had to give it a little torque to get it to move. I turned it counter-clockwise, then clockwise two or three times each and felt it was unstuck. I turned the disposal on and boom! Working disposal. It's of great quality as well. It did not include instructions, however, none were needed. Thanks for a great product!

Beats a Broom Handle
We have always used a tool like this when a garbage disposal got stuck. It works better than a broom handle and can be used by anyone with decent arm strength. Saves a lot of money when you don't have to call for repair.

Didn't Work For Me
I don't know if my rating is fair because it's possible I don't have the strength to turn it. The next time I have a repairman in for anything, I'll ask him to try it.

Looks like a simple tool and it is. The "blade" swivels so you can insert it into the top of the disposal. In the photo the blade is upside down. Works better than using the "Allen wrench" tool on the bottom. If the disposal is rusted/corroded from lack of use you need a new disposal. This tool will not work. For any other jams this is the tool you need.

Much better than a broomstick!
I have a disposal that doesn’t have the Allen wrench fitting on the bottom. This tool had me back up and running in about a minute. I had tried to unjam it with some threaded rod. I bent the rod and just about ripped the disposal out of my sink and it was still jammed! So glad I bought this.

Can’t put it in the sink without the end turning. Once it is in the sink, garbage disposal, I couldn’t get the bottom to even back out to help move the garbage disposal

Flimsy
Ok, yes I purchase this particular handle because it was the cheapest, and I can tell you why, it's very flimsy! It worked to unfreeze my garbage disposal, but I'm afraid it will brake if the disposal is REALLY frozen. My disposal didnt come with a hex nut that allows you to spin the grinder, so this is my only way of unfreezing it. My suggestion is buy the most expensive one you can find on Amazon, because you will be replacing this, after the return window gas closed. Thanks
