Adorable, but...
Be aware that "newborn" is actually "premie/newborn" as it reads on the tags and it shows fitting 4-7lbs. I ordered 3 of the shirts, so will be returning them all, since I thought "newborn" fits 0-3 months. I gave it five stars because they are adorable and I don't what standard sizing generally is. If order the matching pants they are not premie/newborn, it does fit 0-3 months.

My baby was born full term at 6 pounds. Initially this overwhelmed her but she quickly grew into it. The material is a little thicker but I personally like it because it attests to quality since cheaper shirts feel so thin and do not hold up well long term in the wash. The thicker material also deters the shirt from riding up. You may wonder why I don't just get shirts with snaps on the bottom then.....who wants to fiddle with those snaps at 3am. Just rather be able to do quick chance and reswaddle. I have not had any issue yet with snaps falling off as the other reviewers have expressed. The only thing I will say is that the arm sleeves might be a little small for larger babies. I'm noticing that my petite baby is already fitting them pretty well at 4 weeks.

Great for newborn in the hospital!!
LOVED these in the hospital right after my baby was born. The 0-3 fit perfectly, and my baby was 8lb 13 oz, 22 inches. I brought two and used both. The cotton isn't suuuuper soft, but was just fine for us. The mits were great, and the shirt was easy to take on and off. The snaps worked perfectly. Definitely recommend for the first week or two!

Good quality shirt.
I love the quality of loved baby items but this item was misprinted. The tag reads 3 months and the weight listed is for the 6 month size and It's clearly a 6 month size shirt. I still love the quality and the rich colors of these shirts and my daughter wears her shirt all the time!

buy a size up but great shirt
This fit about a size smaller than the other clothes I have for my baby. Love the clothes just make sure to buy a size or two up. This shirt was too small when I received it. Baby wore it once but was a little too tight so we didn't use it again. Good color and design

Buy for your hospital bag!!
Long sleeve mitten cross-body shirts are so great! They protect baby from scratching, are easy to out on- no pulling a onsie over a wobbly newborn baby's head- and they don't cover the delicate belly button so it can heal. I bought these in a few colors to take to the hospital- they are warmer, softer and cuter than the thin white long sleeve shirts our hospital provides. I only wish I had bought them for my first- my second is living in these now and she is one week old.

I love the soft material
I love the soft material. I really love the colors. But I don't love that the snaps are so strong they ripped the shirt the very first time I tried to pull them apart! And I was being gentle, too. Either the buttons are too hard-core, or the reinforcement is too flimsy. I have 2 other of the same style, and some gowns which have not ripped at the snaps... yet. I don't look forward to having to be extra, extra gentle on them during quick and dirty outfit changes. Quite disappointed. I had considered this one of my favorite brands, but now I will be wary buying anymore. Bummer.

Perfect newborn shirt!
The perfect newborn shirt at a GREAT price. This fit our 6lb newborn for her ride home from the hospital. The sleeves were a bit long, as expected for our tiny baby. As she grew, it became one of our favorite go to items. Made diaper changes extra easy (not dealing with a onesie). The material is soft, and construction is top quality. Love it!
