A Fun Project For a Short While

This heart bank is a fun project you can spend an afternoon doing with your child. The bank itself is made of cardboard and thin plastic, so, it probably won't be an item your child will treasure throughout their adolescence and into adulthood. I did not use the Motivational Message portion of the kit. This portion is slips of paper your child can write inspirational messages on, and then remove from the bank at a later date for a perk up. Instead, we decorated the heart and turned it into my daughter's first piggy bank. She loves folding up her money (what she calls tickets) and sliding the bills through the little hole on the top. The kit came with a few stickers (I wish more variety had been provided here). Perhaps some sticker gems would have made a nice addition too. All in all, if you want to kill boredom and create something fun, this little heart bank is a fine product to do on a lazy Sunday.

Perfect mindfulness activity & great for families

I ordered this for my mindfulness class and was so impressed with the kit. It comes with everything a single person needs to create a happiness bank, small note paper, cute shaped note cards, a gel pen, a heart shaped gel Bank with stickers to decorate, and small sticky fasteners to rolls and seal the note cards. The paper is NOT a sticky pad, it’s just regular square shaped paper. The pens in the photograph did not come with the kit, I provided those for my students. The kit even comes with ideas and prompts for how to use it. My students really enjoyed this activity and all have since remarked about the lessons learned. I also used this with my family. My kids - ages 2.5 and 6 - drew pictures or words that made them happy or to represent happy memories and added those n addition to little things trinkets and items from nature that made them happy and we placed all of these in the happiness bank. When one of my kids is sad, she gets to pull one of the happiness items out and the whole family gets to talk about the memory/reflect about what makes us sad/happy. Although I’m sure most people could create this kit themselves, for the cost and convenience, it makes sense to just purchase this. Everything is there and the application for use is endless. Great value, wonderfully done.

Good positive reinforcement

If you have Artsy kids and you want your kids to start out their day with something good this is for you. We have a 7-year-old grandchild that thinks this is great fun she likes the stickers and has fun drawing and then adding it to her box. The price could be cheaper but overall it's a good buy.

My 7 yeah old daughter said ‘this is 10 stars ⭐️, Mummy’ - so it must be good! She loves crafts and writing ✍️, drawing etc so this is ideal for her. I love the idea of filling a happiness bank with 100 days of gratitude. It’s a lovely sentiment and when she’s having her challenging days, this will help her through it. It’s a great gift!

Homeschool health

In Maryland, we are required to have health incorporated in our homeschool. We incorporate a lot of mindfulness activities. This happiness bank is one of the ways we incorporate health. This is for my 9 year old daughter and she has filled almost all of it in the last few months. It's great for remembering all the happy times and good moments she has had.

I ordered this for my daughter so she could build a healthy and positive mindset. This happiness bank is so cute! There are lots of stickers to decorate it with, a notepad to write yourself little notes, a pretty gel pen to write your notes with, and some notepads that have designs. This is perfect for the days when your little one might need a reminder that things will be okay by pulling a piece of paper out and reading a positive and happy memory. Such a great gift, too...I think this is awesome to build positive mindsets for little kiddos!

Cute! Love that the packaging is paper and not plastic!

This is a really cute little craft kit! My daughter loves stuff like this and this was so fun for her. First off, I was so impressed that everything was packaged in paper bags. No extra plastic! The bank itself is made of a thicker cardboard with clear plastic inserts. There is a hole on the top to insert notes but you can also remove one side. There is plenty of space to decorate and plenty of items to decorate with! They give you a LOT of paper to write your statements of gratitude and thankfulness. Plus little stickers to seal them closed or decorate with. You also get adorable little cards to write in as well. Not only that, you get a pen too! Once the notes and cards are placed in the bank it looks so cute! As a parent, I know that sometimes toys are only entertaining for a short time. I always feel guilty tossing them when they have outworn their welcome. Due to the materials I feel like once it's time for this one to go it will be easily recycled or quick to decompose. So happy they used minimal plastics!
