Funny, but not functional.
The costume is good looking and we got a lot of laughs. But the fan and battery pack are too heavy and kept weighing it down. We even tried wearing suspenders. The elastic that is supposed to keep the pants part secure is not effective at all.

Many many comments and laughs from strangers!!!
My daughter loved it. Functioned well. Had so many comments and laughs from people. It could be firmer....put a belt around the waist line and the ostrich is firmer. Small amount of air leaks at waist line. Still worked well but adding a belt made it better. Strongly suggest this... it looks hilarious and its a big attention grabber.

My daughter is almost 5 feet tall, and she weighs 98 lbs. This fit her perfectly

It was relative easy to get on and off and blew great!
We got so many compliments on this costume. It was relative easy to get on and off and blew great. I would recommend carrying a couple backup batteries as the blower will go through good batteries in about 2 hours... maybe a little less.

Fail! And another FAIL!!
Update: Whomever makes these costumes need to get out of the costume making business. I recently received my replacement and the motor weakly ran for a few seconds before it died. I put in new batteries that I just purchased to ensure it wasn't operator error but it was a huge fail!! I don't know how this costume is even receiving 5 stars. Save yourself the frustration and DO NOT PURCHASE!! Original review: Just received the costume and had my child try it on to test out the feel and look of it. Placed 4 fresh batteries into the fan and it was a no-go. Tried another set of batteries and still nothing. Suffice to say that my child was very disappointed. I'm returning this one and ordering another with the hope that we received a dud.

Hilarious and ridiculous costume!!
My 8 year old son loves this ridiculous costume. The fan works well and actually blows the ostrich up well. It does not come with the shirt or the hat, so you have to improvise on those. Otherwise it is hilarious and totally ridiculous.
