I am trying to be generous, but some trade-offs here...

I got this partly because of the positive reviews and also because I needed a combined metric/SAE 1/4 set. I am giving it a Meh score, because it does what it is supposed to, but no goodies. The swivel thing is a joke, turning it transfers the energy to changing its form rather the socket. Then the hand rotary thing is a plastic, and it is relatively big. Why not use a small wrench instead, which I have and is markedly better. So, strike 2. Strike 3 is that the deep sockets do not accept the nut into them. And lastly, you will need to place a liner over the sockets if you don't want them to be all over. The trick works well, just save any Styrofoam that you get as packaging and then place on there and then all of the sudden the container is better. The last one is a partial strike, because I like it more than one that is so tight you injure yourself trying to get the pieces out, since with the box that it comes, a compensation can be made to make it OK. The sockets look and feel ok, I like metric and SAE differentiation. The wrench is great, A+ on the fine action. Second Set I have bought

I have to say I love this 1/4 set it is the second one I bought. they hold up great have a very wide range of sae and metric sockets. It is my go to for my travel kit. I have a bunch of GearWrench sets I use them for heavy duty repair on machinery and will buy more.

Great little kit!

Clearly labeled, includes any size socket I will ever need in the 1/4” drive size. Great little ratchet, though the 84 tooth ratchet would be fine with me as well. The molded case is nothing to write home about, but it’s good enough. The plastic latches on the case have a hinge which is a step above most cases. I’m the handy guy in my workplace(office-ish) so I bought this to put in my locker with a few other random tools. It’s a bit overkill for what I need but I got a deal on it.

Just because I say value. I don’t mean cheap. High quality & really are the best tools money can buy. I’ve seen many people Talk about snap on or MAC tools. Though Mac outperforms in many areas the price is just to high.
