Price vs Value
I purchased in December of 2019 for $89.94 and for the price it was ok. Now it's February 2023 it it held up for a while but now is dry rotted and tears easily. The current price is now $162.00 so the increase is near 100% in just 4 years, that's 25% increase per year. WOW. I don't think it is worth that much. You may want to consider alternatives at this price.

We'll see
We'll see how long it lasts. It faded quite a bit in the course of half a summer. I took it off over winter and had the boat shrink wrapped. I think it will last about 2 seasons....

Rugged material, needs more support than the one post included.
This cover is made of excellent quality material, and installed fairly easily just a lot of walking around fiddling with the straps (as would be the case with any cover). I have a basic 14' Lowe V-bottom fishing boat (no windshield or steering console, similar to what's shown in the product listing picture in this ad). Unless you are storing the boat under a roof, or you live where there's no rain or snow, this cover needs a LOT more support in the middle than what the single prop pole (included) can provide. I even bought two more prop poles, had one on each boat seat bench, down the middle. Tightened all the straps as tight as I could to keep the cover tight; and it still pooled water out near the edges of the boat. I will have to make some "bows" out of PVC pipe or similar material to support it even better. Great cover, but the prop poles don't cut it in Wisconsin weather.

Sustainable, biodegradable-falls apart in the sun, 17-19'Lx102W fits 2001 Crestliner 1800 I/O w/P-TM
UPDATE! From 5 Stars to 2 Stars!!! I have now owned 2 of these covers since the first one literally fell apart in less than 2 years. At 1-1.5 years when the straps were sun rotting and breaking off the cover, then around the 1.5-2 year mark the cover started developing holes from sun-rotted fabric. If this cover didn't fit my boat "like a glove", I would have ditched the POS, but it fits too good, just as good as the $500 that lasted me 7-8 years. Too bad they didn't make the cover out of material that could stand up to the sun! Also, the cover's color starts out as dark grey, then quickly fades to purple, and finally to light gray. (Embarrassingly, I paid $130 for each of the first 2 covers, and just bought 2 more when I found them for $82 each) Sustainable: Customers have to come back every 2 years for another cover! Biodegradable: Sun will eventually turn the cover into dust. Original Review: Nice inexpensive cover - The 17-19'L x 102W cover fits a 2001 18' Crestliner 1800 I/O with port bow mount trolling motor. I bought this cover before plunking down $500 on a high quality semi-custom cover. With free Amazon returns, what did I have to lose? I don't expect it to last as long as a $500 cover, but if I get 3 years out of it, I'll be happy. Amazingly, this cover fits over the bow mount trolling motor and sits just below the rub rail all the way around. At the windshield it barely covers the rub rail, maybe 1/2" below on each side, but it's still over the rub rail. Tie-down straps are in decent positions, but I re-worked the clips by adding tri-glide strap adjusters to handle the excess strap that flops around. Pros - Great bang for the buck cover (if it fits your boat) - Fits my boat very well - Air vents - Breathable material - Elastic edge - Material seems pretty strong, medium thickness for a boat cover (6oz? manufacturer doesn't state ) - Enough straps sewn into cover to hold it down securely (11 total + aft center loop) - Straps swen across top of cover, distributing load the the strap and off the cover material - 5 year warranty Cons: - HUGE UGLY LOGO PRINTED ON COVER! - Other reviewers state the fabric's dark grey color fades quickly, I would have preferred a light color that doesn't show fading as bad. - Center aft tie down point is just a loop, no buckle and strap sewn in. I cobbled up a strap out of materials I had - Corner aft tiedown straps are not sewn into the cover, just 1/2 the buckle is sewn into the cover. These straps are intended to attach to the trailer frame, then clipped to the cover. Huge hassle as you have to un-loop the strap from the trailer frame before moving the boat. I figured out how to attach these straps to the cover (small section of Bic pen for a tube and a zip-tie) so the strap is permanently attached to the cover. These aft straps should have been sewn in like the other straps, for ease of use and so the straps don't get lost or destroyed. - Trailerable ?!? I wouldn't tow with this cover, and expect it to last. - Fitment on my boat leaves a 3-4" gap underneath by the trolling motor, enough for a cat to hop in if they discover the gap. I'm sure the cover wasn't designed to accommodate trolling motors, so this is more of a fitment issue with my particular boat and NOT a flaw in the cover's design. Very minor issue, but wanted to mention it. - I doubt this cover will last through it's full 5 year warranty with desert sun pounding on it 365 days/year. I've had 4-5 other boat covers, and the stitching is the first thing to sun-rot, usually in 3-4 years (or less).

Heavy duty durable
We like the weight of the fabric and where the straps are positioned. Makes it easier to get a snug fit. We use the pole in the front of the front before the windshield. We have a 2006 Bayliner Bowrider. The cover turned a purplish color within a month. Lol Don’t really care. It has held up to sideways rain and strong winds that I thought might pick up our storage shed. We get real wind here in tornado alley. It has went through i e storms, snow storms, heat around 104 degrees. We are still using the same cover. Going strong. We bought 2 pool noodles and cut open longwise down one side and smashed them down along the top edge of the windshield. No sharp edges showing, cover gets snug there when tightened down and thats where our previous cover tore. So we addressed that issue before using this one. We bought the cheapest pvc pipe available at lows and cut it to fit inside the back from one side to other with an Arch higher than the tops of the seat backs, removes sag and helps water run off. Creates a high centered point. (The wind takes out a pole stand in the back of the boat under a cover like it’s nothing.) we made 2 of these arches in the back. The second one is real close to very back of the boat, and has about 6 inches lower Arch than the one by the captain's chairs behind the windshield, about midway on the boat. This does not allow any water to puddle on the cover and rip it. The flex in the pvc keeps ot tight against the inside the boat walls. The cover tightened down applies downward pressure against the arches in the curved pvc poles. It’s not going anywhere until you move it. Our boat has stayed bone dry. When we need to replace it, we will buy this cover again. We bought it in 2019.

The fit was good but it was not tight around the motor.
Good quality material, good weight, stitching tight and strapping sturdy. The fit around the stern is loose and water leaks in.

Faded not expected to last
The produce appeared good but the colour has faded from grey to pink and we havent put the boat on water yet. This is uk sunshine which we havent had a lot of so really disappointed expect it to go brittle and fall apart been on boat in our yard for 6 weeks. A lot if money for a sub standard product.

Worth every penny
Great value, seen exact same top at local store for than twice the price. Fits really well but u need to make sure you know your boat type and dimensions. If I had to complain it would be about the support poll. It kinda cheap and lacks strength. But the cover makes up for it. Thumbs up!

Good purchase buy some support poles to use
So I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this item. Some things are correct, the pole supplied is garbage - flimsy and hard to keep in place. Buy some other ones because you will need them to put peaks in the cover to prevent pooling. I’ve had the cover in some good rain storms the water beads off of it but does pool if you don’t peak the cover. One storm had bad pooling by the front because the one strap seemed to stretch as it got wet. Overall a quality cover but it is not a custom cover so it will have loose spots. It basically has three straps across the body of the boat. One on each side at the back and three at the bow. I’ve ordered three poles separately to use to peak it but have only received the one so far. Delivery was very quick. Also the cover will trap some moisture under it if your boat is at all wet so don’t assume the cover is letting it through it’s really holding the moisture in so if you put your boat away wet open it up to dry. Overall a good cover for the price.
