So easy to read!

I like this gauge a lot. It's really easy to read, even without the included little red loop. The loop sticks to the sides when you dump it, but as soon as it rains, the loop is back where it belongs. Nice and sturdy.

Red Indicator Gets Stuck At Bottom

I really wanted to like this but with little rain where I live, this did not work out. Easy to read but that red plastic indicator kept getting stuck at the bottom with no rain in the tube. Only way it would work was with some water already in it, but that wont work when the weather is 100 degrees and it evaporates!

Better than we expected!

Rain gauge arrived well packaged and was exactly as promoted. Large, easy to read numbers. Perfect for our intended use!

Can see from 10 feet away!

This gauge is awesome. Just stick it in the ground, or in a large plant pot that the plant isn't going to obstruct rainfall, and you are set. I've found that with our lovely NC clay soil, and rainfalls that tend to be gullywashers vs. light summer rains, the mud can bounce up and land in side the gauge, leaving it mucky and then hard to read. I just bring it in, fit it with water and a little electric dishwasher detergent, let it sit a bit, and then use a bottle brush to clean it out. Good as new. Speaking of which, I wonder if Rain-X would help keep this from happening? If I try it, I'll let you know!
