This is a 12 piece brush set that has brushes in a variety of sizes. They are well made. This would make a nice gift for artists or crafty people.

DONT THINK TWICE. BUY RIGHT NOW!

I treated myself to these bad boys since I’m getting my serious about my artwork and I can’t say enough good things about them!!! One, they’re beautiful...clearly. Two, they’re fairly short which makes it sooo much easier to hold. Three, my strokes are all nice and even and last but not least, I have not experienced any bristle fraying or falling out.

Outstanding variety brush set

Kingart’s 12 count paintbrush set is a great sampler of their full line of excellent products. Includes: Original Gold (Golden Taklon), Original Gold ( Acrylic brush), Original Gold (detail tip), Finesse (synthetic kolinsky sable), Truth (white nylon ), Stellar (king synthetic mix), Specialty (ultra soft natural brush), Equinox ( Kazan synthetic squirrel), Precision (Golden & Amber taklon mix), Radiant (AP Taklon) and Celestial (synthetic bristle). Brushes include synthetic fibered as well as natural hairs on heads for durable tools that work well in a variety of mediums be it oil, acrylic, or watercolor. The handles are a variety of lacquered, stained, glossy and matte finishes. They come in lengths that work well enough for easel works or mini-sized for detailed work. The nickel ferrules used through set is double crimped to increase the life of brushes. So far so good on durability; I will update as I spend more time with these tools. Seem very promising.

Above standard packaging.

The packaging was way above standard; they came in a nice box properly tied down so as not to be rolling around possibly damaging any brush head. The brushes have a great feel when holding while painting. The shape and quality of each brush had been obviously thought out with care to how important it is for specific angles. I found that painting with these brushes far exceeded my normal range of brushes. I normally have issues with cutting corners out or blending colors when trying to separate line, but with these brushes, that problem is nonexistent. Clean up is a cinch, the paint comes off the brushes very easily with warm water. Note that I use Acrylic Paints, NOT Oil-based. Would recommend this product to friends and family.

Gorgeous set!

Perfect! What a beautiful set! This would be an excellent gift for the artist in your life! I appreciate the wide variety of small brushes to work with. They look like works of art themselves and come in a nice box that's easy for wrapping. They work well - no loose bristles. Nice lines. They really are super pretty on their own - it makes you feel quite confident when you're trying to paint that dog!

Beautiful brushes, my daughter loves them

These brushes are wonderful. They come in a large flat box, excellent for presentation or gift giving. The quality of the brushes is clear when you open the box. My daughter has been painting for many years (she's 16 now), its something thats really important to her. And she is very fussy about her brushes. She really likes these brushes, which makes me happy.

Very good quality, in a nice box for gift giving.

This set of brushes seems to be of similar quality to those brushes that cost considerably more. I have not used all of the sizes, but what I have used, have performed well. (watercolor). No shedding so far, and with typical care they easily retain their shape after cleaning. The set arrived in a nice two piece cardboard gift style box which I am still using for storage of the brushes. The set would make a good gift for a hobbyist, if not a serious artist.

Nice variety for detail work

This is a good beginner's set of brushes for work with acrylic, oil and watercolor paints. There is one fairly wide brush for larger areas and the rest are smaller ones including angled edges and very fine points for the minutest details. The acrylic tips are soft and well cut, and the wooden handles very light and easy to hold. A small flat brush was included in my package as a bonus.
