Warm, washable, and durable!

I have two feral cats that I care for on my property. They began to trust me enough to pet them a little and come into my garage. I set up a little spot for them with these beds to keep warm in the winter.....that was seven years ago! These beds have lasted seven years in my garage! I have washed them several times by removing the heating pad and running through the washing machine. They love these beds and sleep in them every night. In the summer I unplug the beds so it isn't too hot. They have slept in them every night for seven years. I just came back to order one more because I have a stray now that has made friends with my ferals and he needs a spot to sleep too. I had to write a review when I realized how long they have lasted. Fantastic cat beds! Money well spent.

Cat approved!

My cat was waking me up at night to get under the covers. She would bat at my head until I let her in. It was kind of cute at first but then I was having issues sleeping. She found this right away and left me alone all night. She also has stayed in it most of the day. I didn't think my apartment was that cold but I guess cats like to be cozy! She used to sit by the heater and fireplace so if your cat is seeking out warm spots in your home this could be a good thing for them. I was torn between the two sizes but went with the small - cat is a petite adult at about 8 lbs and she fits perfectly. I just wish they had better colors to choose from.

Great product!

We had an elderly small dog that really needed a nice, warm spot to sleep. This bed was great for her! You have to plug it in, but it is only “on” when they are laying in it. Sadly, our sweet doggie passed away, but the 3 kittens we have now absolutely love it as well! I would not recommend this for any animal that weighs more than about 15-20 pounds. It isn’t huge and the walls can be a bit unstable for a heavier dog (or kitty), but for the small animals in your life that need a warm, cuddly spot to sleep, this is definitely great! Also works outdoors in a covered area. My mom has a couple of feral kitties that sleep on her covered porch and they also love it!

Took a while, but very happy now

All 4 cats refused to try it for almost a month. Moved it to a different location about once/week, sprinkled catnip, put treats in it - nothing worked. I was lamenting my failure to a friend when it occurred to me to remove all the stuffing from the bottom. Found my little tortie in there the next day. She's been choosing it over any of the heating pads most of the time since then. Today I found one of my boys in it for the first time. No fighting (yet), but guessing a couple more of these are in my near future. Would give it a 5 if I hadn't had to cut an actual hole with scissors to adjust it to my cats' preferences. Plenty of room. Small size bed, plenty of extra room when my bigger kitty (9-10 lbs) is in there. Possible my two smallest (7ish lbs) could fit at the same time if they were so inclined.

Warm and cozy

My cat LOVES her bed! It’s nice because it only warms up when she lays in it. I checked it over and over for months and it’s been working great! I haven’t taken the cover off because I’ve just been vacuuming it. I would buy it again and have told all my cat friends about it.

My cat loves this!

What is there to say except that my cat likes a warm spot to sleep. I have it on my desk and my cat loves the warmth of it. It doesn't get super hot, but it's warm to the touch. The cord is also easy to hide away if the bed isn't moving around at all.

Bought the 16”. So far had it for a couple days. Bith of my cats seem to enjoy it. I was a little disappointed in that it just feels like a sheet of foam and the cloth seems pretty thin. But it works as its supposed to, time will tell how it holds up. At this point I am glad I got it and would recommend.

My cat loves it, but....

My cat loved this at first. I put it on my bed, plugged it in and she snuggled right in for the first few days. Then wanted nothing to do with it. So I moved it to the living room sofa and she sleeps there almost every night. Unfortunately there is no plug close enough to warm it up, but she likes it anyway. I guess it is about location location location for a cat.

Fire hazard in UK

I am returning this. It came with a US plug, which I thought was fine. I got an adaptor and plugged it in. Fine. I noticed the bed was warm all the time. Cat in it or not the bed was very warm. And when you pressed on it with your hand it made a buzzing noise. Fast forward a few days and I’m smelling burning. You guessed it. Coming from this bed. The plastic heat pad in the bed was boiling and melted. The whole bed smells like a bonfire. Thank god I noticed otherwise it could have caught fire. I have another one of these beds that is the UK version and it works fine. Only gets warm when a cat is in it etc. plus the UK one doesn’t have a heat pad. I don’t know where this one came from but it’s a safety hazard. Not happy at all, especially considering the price of this bed. If you are in the UK don’t buy this pet bed!!

Cats love it

Bought this for my senior cat who had started spending a lot of time leaning on the radiator.... she now spends most of her day in the bed. The "20 inch" is pretty large and cat fit one cat stretched out or two if they're willing to snuggle. As some other reviewers noted, the bed was a bit squished when it came out of the box but after a couple months of use it has rounded out nicely. It makes a gentle heat that only comes on when the cat gets it. I do wish that the cover was removable for washing; it's a bit awkward when it needs to be cleaned. All the same it makes my cats so happy that I bought a second one.
