A nice way to organize cutlery

This organizer is very nice. It is a sleek, stylish way to get your forks, knives, spoons and other things in order. It doesn’t work as great if you have a lot of forks or spoons, but it generally works very nicely

APPEARED TO BE A GOOD IDEA

I thought it would be great. In my opinion... NOT. Because the full utensil is not seen... it's not covenient... maybe I am getting old, but I can't remember what is what. The handle of the fork is the same as the spoon. I realize I want to see whatin the drawer.

Great for organization

My 1 kitchen drawer was a mess. Idk how any one design a kitchen with 1 draw for utensils & 1 really small drawer for towels, but this is the predicament of which I live. It probably wasn't a big deal because the kitchen is my least fav room of any room of the house. But after having a kid I now understand the importance of a kitchen & the value of adequate storage. Trying to keep this 1 drawer organized & able to open was a pain. One night of insomnia led to the discovery of this drawer organizer. I contemplated it for a while & am glad i purchased it. I tossed my other drawer organizer almost immediately. I know a good thing when I see it & this is a really good thing. The only thing I dislike is tha the upper most compartment doesn't have a "cover" like the others. I put my knives here because my drawer has spoons, forks, butter/table knives & plastic wear. Sometimes the knives shifts & makes the drawer looks messy. I'll have to deal with this awhile because the plastic wear is in the lowest compartment (closer to the front of the drawer) so my 6yr old can easily grab his utensils. The side compartments are great. I do wish they would slide out/expand more because I have more things i need to put in them. Instead I used the blank space of the drawer. I think this is more a problem with my kitchen not having enough drawers than it is with the drawer storage itself. My sis came over reached for something & was impressed that my drawer was finally organized. So I'm happy. But the real test will be when my mom notice it & is pleased with the cleanliness of the drawer. This does make my list of things to give as a house warming present. I know they'll thank me.

Not for me

Seemed to be a good idea and I kept the drawer for a few months. But it became a "bother" trying to keep the utensils straight. It holds a limited amount of utensils in each slot. It gets very messy.

Some annoying flaws in an otherwise decent organizer

So Joseph+Joseph bills itself as a design-focused stuff to make your life better… you pay a premium but you expect it to just work properly and not have any annoyances or frustrations when using the product. With that as the metric, this product fails. First, the expansion aspect of it is kinda hokey… but, ok. Then we load the silverware in the compartments. They have a kinda-sorta divider, I’m guessing to aid in the organization of your salad forks and dinner forks, and soup spoons and teaspoons. Nice idea, but execution falls short - this kinda-sorta divider doesn’t extend all the way down, so there’s just a large open space there. Silverware will slide diagonally and get all mixed up between the two. If that’s how it works, I’d rather not have the divider, it just causes annoyance. Once silverware is in these compartments, assuming it remains in the right spots… well, then you have a bunch of the ‘ends’ of your silverware… which almost all look the same (maybe yours’ are different - mine seem to look far too similar to one another to differentiate). By hiding the ‘business’ end of your forks, spoons, butter knives, etc., this thing requires you to remember which compartment has which item. Easy enough for me, since I put the stuff in there (well, mostly, I’ve had my moments), but if you ever have any guests in your kitchen, they now have to fish around to find a spoon or whatever they need. Is it the end of the world? No, of course not. Is it annoying? Yes! I suppose I should have thought this problem through before ordering this thing, but it’s a silverware holder/drawer organizer… how much thought should I really need to put into this thing? I guess it’s a lesson learned. After this ridiculous product, I’m shifting Joseph+Joseph into the gimmicky category. Definitely not worth the premium.

Love It

Only issue and It might not be the item. But certain types of spoons I had couldn't fit in the top part but I believe it's due to the size of my kitchen drawer. Otherwise, it helps so much with me organizing my utensils and easily to retrieve and gives such a cool look and feel.

Need some time to work out but worth the cost

The quality is really good. It’s a really good plastic and I think this will actually last very long. However it took me around 10 minutes to understand how should I manage all my utensils there, but once it was done I was surprised how comfortable it is. 10 out of 10!

Not for big set of cutlery

Good but not for large family. Good space saver but if you have more than an 8 pieces serving set it becomes difficult to stay in the appropriate slots.

Be organized starting from cutlery

I bought this as an add one piece to make my cutlery drawer more organized. Previously I own a narrow one which works perfect except for its capacity, I always found myself running out of tea spoon and forks, with all used ones left in the dishwasher. So I decide to buy a matching organizer to extend my cutlery collection. This piece is beyond my expectation especially with the extendable sleeves. It fits in the drawer perfectly and makes the layout of the drawer quite impressive.

Not any better

It might look like it holds a lot, but really doesn’t. Especially with utensils. Unless you have flat utensils, you’ll only be able to store 3-4 forks/spoons in a spot.

Looks good in my drawer

It does what I want it to do and it looks good. It took a lot of measuring and comparing to make the final decision to buy it and I'm not disappointed. The downside is that the parts nearest the front of the drawer are hardly used due to how awkward they are to fit anything or remove anything from but it looks good in my drawer and I coupled it with the slimmer Joseph Joseph cutlery holder so that the drawer is completely filled up, I have a lot of cutlery so this works for me.

Very helpful for organizing kitchen drawers

I really like this organizer, everything has a place and it fits a lot (only one set of utensils, more wouldn't fit). It was perfect for us and allowed us to put more stuff in one drawer.
