Love How This Changed the Ambiance of My Room

I have some experience with selling lamps so know what to look for and this is a nice, high quality, beautiful lamp. I was looking for a round one but didn't see they made one til a day after I purchased this rectangle one, which is just as beautiful. So, I ended up buying both. The only area for improvements are (are you listening Jonathan Y?) The shades on the round and rectangle lamps are a different color, the rectangle being white, the round being ivory. I'm ok with either color but now I have two lamps with different colored shades. As other reviewers noted, manufacturing could do a better job making sure the prettiest side of the lamp, the side with the most character, was in the front, not the back or sides. My only real complaint is why on earth would you put a silver cord on a gold lamp? It's a nice cord, don't get me wrong, but I'm wondering who thought that was a wise decorator choice to use a silver cord. Overall, I love both of my lamps. They really change the ambiance of my room. Thanks for making a quality product, packaging it well, including easy instructions, all at a great price.

So So

PROS: Marble column is pretty and well cut, no chips or gouges, color and size as pictured. Shade well-sized for base. Packing is excellent. CONS: The painted-on gold finish on base, stem and finial is cheap looking. Overall for the price, not bad.

Good Lamp Despite Some Flaws

Not entirely impressed. From stellar reviews expected better quality, but it's a decent reasonably priced lamp. The finial is cheap poorly painted wood, metal base and part above alabaster is also poor quality, was missing larger bulb, as others mention the night light is off center which is somewhat annoying. Going to keep it because it does look good unless unless scrutinized up close.

Beautiful lamp

It's a lovely lamp. We love the illuminated alabaster stone base and have gotten many compliments. My only issue is that the bulb in the stone base is not centered. I suppose its because there is a rod containing the cord that runs top the bottom and it was a design decision to place the bulb housing to the side. Still beautiful though and I would definitely buy again.

Beautiful lamp

I ordered this to match a bedframe but now the bed frame is back ordered. However I think I will keep the lamp as it matches the side tables well. I like that it has multiple light settings allowing for minimal light with the base lit only to maximal light with both the base and bulb. However, when we got them we placed them on the dresser and the gold bled onto the white dresser. These lamps need a coaster or cloth under them to prevent ruining your furniture. Also the wire to plug them in is very ugly so I will need a wire cover to make them more attractive. These lamps are also very heavy so them need a strong side table to support them. Overall a good lamp, but be aware of these issues before you buy.

Simply Elegant

The alabaster lamp was simply elegant and great value for what I got. I love the brown shade in the alabaster stone it goes well with my decor. I didn’t like the gold paint and the shade. They could be made well or better quality to compliment the alabaster lamp better. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase.

Beautiful Alabaster Lights

These lights look absolutely beautiful in our home. The colors in the stone are unique and gorgeous!! We really like the rectangular shades as well. The night light that is inside the stone really adds to the uniqueness of the lamps. We turn those on nearly every evening. We purchased 2 of these originally, but added another one about a week later. Packaging is excellent and they arrived in perfect condition. If you're looking too modernize the look in your home you can't go wrong with these lights!
