Comfortable Foam Slippers

I work from home in a finished basement, and the floor (a thin layer of "wood" over concrete) is rough on my knees, so I usually wear a pair of rubber Crocs. I've been alternating between my Crocs and these slippers for the past few weeks. The memory foam is nice and thick, and I can feel myself sink into them when I stand up. They feel a little wide on my feet (I wear a "normal" size 11).

Good for Kicking Off & Standing Still - But will they last?

The first thing I noted was the packaging. The model/description label card was "garment tagged" directly to each sole so there was a small plastic tag hanging from the bottom of each slipper after removing the label. Not a huge deal for walking on carpeting, but hearing the plastic clack on my tile floors was annoying until it rubbed off. The slippers themselves are comfortable under the midsole and toe pad, and your heels are exposed by design. I received a size 11/12 (I wear a size 12) and my heels simply crush down the "hoodback". Unless you use your finger to wrap the hoodback around your heel (which in my opinion defeats the purpose of the slip-in style), a size 12 foot will not fit properly into the slipper. As such, these slippers do not seem safe when I'm walking up and down stairs, which I do all day. They routinely come off my feet on stairs unless I actively curl my toes to hold them on my feet. I have both carpeted and wood stairs, and while they seem to stay on better on the carpeted stairs, I have lost them on both surfaces. Additionally, I have owned many "memory foam" products and perhaps I misread, but these are not memory foam - the foam feels rather cheap and there is certainly no contouring to my sole as I would have expected from a quality memory foam. I don't believe these will last very long as there is already stitching coming loose on both slippers with just over one week's worth of use. I really wanted this slip on to replace my moccassin style Rockport slippers. I work from home at a standing desk on a rubber mat with foot massagers so I constantly switch back and forth between bare feet and slippers. Having the slip in style just seemed like it would be an easy transition. While I have noticed these are "cooler" (temp wise) than my faux-fur lined moccassins, the added heat is offset by the security of that slipper as opposed to these. Again, for standing around and sitting, these are comfortable enough. But the fact is they are not sized properly to slip into without crushing the hoodback, and they lack a secure fit - especially on wood stairs - that leaves me wanting.

Cushy and true to size

Hubby would not let me take a picture of these on his stinky bare feet. Probably for the best. In any event, he normally wears a size 11 wide and these were size 11–12 and fit perfectly. As with most Isotoner products, they are well-made and extremely cushy and comfortable. I highly recommend these and so does my husband - even if he wouldn’t let a picture be taken. Lol. I received this item for free, but the opinions are my own and are honest.
