Worked great

Used this with a cordless dewalt 20v Max hammer drill to put holes in some logs to burn for a camp fire. Worked great, but definitely need a corded drill.

Not very sharp

It will drill holes with some difficulty but it mainly shreds it's way. Doesn't make chips because the edges are so dull.

great value

I use auger bits often as an electrical contractor. For some reason most places around where I live only carry augers up to 1" which is not big enough for a lot of what I need it for. I can always find what I need online and especially at Amazon and often I get it cheaper than in the local stores. It's a wash when you figure in delivery but minus tax but the convenience and the surety always making it worth it. I have drilled many holes with this already and am pleased as I knew I would be. The bit would probably eat through nails but I always make as sure as possible to avoid them so it will last a lot longer. Good bit!
