Great little product! Very pretty wood , sturdy and efficient. I love that the glass fits right in and you can keep moving. I have to find a wine glass that has a ridge to hold the tray up (like in the photo)

Check the size before your order. They are a great product but I did not look at measurements and was expecting them to be a bit bigger.

handy little plates

I love throwing cocktail parties, and these plates are perfect for having a small snack and holding your wine glass at the same time. Worked with all of my wine glasses that have stems, although I tried to balance a regular glass that had a rounded bottom in there and that wasn't very bright, stick with wine glasses! I use the acrylic versions of these plates as well, but these are perfect for cheese and fruit. I keep the acrylic ones in the cupboard in case I need extras, or if I'm serving something less easy to clean off of wood, these are definitely classier. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they aren't dishwasher safe I don't think. In my book everything should clean itself, and barring that at least be dishwasher safe.

Made a nice hostess gift

I bought these as a gift for a friend and she seemed to like them quite a bit but I haven't seen them in action yet. Look and feel like good quality without being too heavy to be practical for their intended use.

I love this set

I love this set! Years ago, I purchased a similar set from Mikasa and was pleasantly surprised to find another set of cocktail plates. Ironwood's set is slightly more substantial, wood grain is more pronounced, a bit larger than my first set, a more refined finish, yet so much nicer overall. I'll be ordering two more sets.

Great for informal get togethers

I received the cocktail plates today. They exceeded my expectations. They are attactive, sturdy yet light weight. These will be great for informal entertaining in home, outside or even poolside. The cut out securely holds a wine glass and the cocktail area is sufficent for cheeze, fruit, and/or other nibbles.
