Great in Value for Money and Great in Size

Great in Value and Great in Size, this watch is on the larger side of big, even if listed "only" as 48mm it makes my 47mm Grand Diver look like a modest 42mm sized diver next to it, it must be the massive lugs and the unique construction that make it appear as massive. however it still wears comfortably on my writs which is somewhere between 7.6 to 8 inch. (i wear a 52mm Suunto, and it feels that i still have room for even larger watches) it is not my first Invicta, and not my Second, i have a few... this one is fairly built, not a 300 meter diver, listed only as 200 with such casing, the Invicta branding is of the newer type, i.e similar to the Vintage model. has similar font to the 1953 style. Small drawback are: The Crown is a simple Push Pull Crown. bit disappointing for such watch, and the Lume... well, Invicta is not famous for having a good or even a decent lume, specially not in watches in this prices range, however this one has a very faint and very weak Blue hue lume, significantly wearker then the lume on the Grand Divers. as for casing and price, i would say the casing is above par for this price range, the watch is beautiful, robust, solid, it actually looks expensive, and a not like the cheap chinese chunks of steel homages. i don't see it to be a Homage to anything i know or like, the strap is a mostly a silicon but is a hybrid with steel which makes it a unique specimen, it is 26mm width, meaning it won't be easy to find a replacement except another original, i hardly can see it passing on a nato strap, the case is too big and too heavy for a regular nato, the lugs are too thick for a leather strap. however the watch is, for itself, as a watch worth the experience. it draws compliments and questions and in general draws attention. i recommend it, get it as long as this style, which seems to be not very popular, is offered, if you have a larger wrist and like automatic watches, this one is also built on the NH35a SII Seiko movement, get it, and i am sure you won't regret it. the movement alone as replacement to another Seiko or Invicta is worth it alone, and price wise buying the movement alone would cost you 70% of the price of this watch. and the Watch is worth wearing and worth keeping and a collectible for Invicta fans.
