tight around the thighs but holds in messes

The diaper in a 4T fits my 36 lb 37" 2 year old well in the hips and butt with some room to spair. FYI he is a 2T or 3T in clothes right now but I sized up based on previous reviews. It is a little tight around the thighs/leg opening though. I have a hard time getting the last snap closed near the bottom when putting it on. He is uncomfortable as I'm putting it on but acts fine once its on. We have had one poop incident which was held in perfectly. No leakage. I do have to admit I wish I had gotten a swim diaper with snaps or velcro on both sides though. Clean up with snaps on one side and a tight fight around the other thigh was a bit of a nightmare. It was a tag team clean up with my husband.

Runs small so buy one size up

These tend to run small, so I recommend you order a size up. I got a 3T originally for my 2 year old. She is tall for her age and wears this size in clothes, so I figured it would fit. It was quite tight on her and looked like it was pinching her legs. I ordered a 4T instead and this was much better. It is a little bit too big, but it works. Not had any accidents in it yet so I can't comment on the leakage, but happy with them so far.

Best purchase of the summer!

Better than the single use swim diapers because they do absorb some, so if the kid pees in it, you don’t get soaked. The colorful one is cute enough to be worn on its own without a bikini bottom and I’m so glad I got a 2 pack! I keep one at Grandma’s for her pool and one at home for all the other water activities and pool parties! My girl has a big ole booty! She is nearly 2 but wears 4-5t bottoms. These fit great!

Nice Swim Diaper

These work well for both my children (boy 1.5yrs, 36in & 30lbs, and girl 3.5yrs, 41in & 35lb) since the elastic on the legs stretches easily to fit both, and they have some room to grow. They are both pretty thin without chunky thighs. Unlike some other swim diapers this does have a thick crotch are so it does absorb a some liquid without becoming so waterlogged that its sagging (training pants absorbancy level). My daughter is potty trained but after a close call where she got out of the pool to go to the bathroom and pooped on the way, I'd rather be safe than sorry in the pool.

Misleading Description

Only sent me one swim diaper and don't see a way to correct it without having to do a return and inconvenience myself by having to bring the one to the UPS store to return. So annoying!

Tight fit

My daughter is 30 lbs (and only 22months) and this was my 2nd attempt at buying swim diapers this summer. I love the quality of these diapers for every day use and swim lessons. i initially bought the 3T but I could only snap 1 of the snaps and hardly get it over my daughters bottom. The 4T is still pretty difficult to snap but I am able to snap it and it's extremely tight.

These work great for swimming

These work great for swimming. My son calls them his underwear! He is 2 and we bought the 3T. However, they do take a long time to dry on the line/ in the sun. I'm really glad I bought the 2 pack. Its also nice that they have the side snaps to my taking off easier.
