popcorn lover

I just got tired of eating out of the bag it was popped in. I like to add hot sauce and garlic to my popcorn. It was easier to sprinkle on popcorn in a bowl instead of a bag. I love it! I do not shake the bowl to strain the popcorn. I gently turn the bowl half turn to left then half turn to right.

Dishwasher safe

I purchased the large. I've put this in the bottom dishwasher tray with all the extra heat and sanitation features, no melting or color loss. The bottom seed trap doesn't always want to stay locked in place and is a little annoying to get locked down. The tabs that lock it are too small of a bump. For 2-3 people sharing the large would be good, but 2-3 smalls likely is more ideal.

Pretty good

I wish the bottom piece was more sturdy in the sense that it was attachable or something. Like a clip on. I go to shake the bowl to get the kernels to the bottom and the entire bottom piece comes off and just ruins the entire separation we had going on in the first place. Other than that, perfect product.

I;d Give These 5 Stars IF They were Easier to Cleam and if the Bottom Insert Actually works

First, my order came with two buckets and only one bottom insert. Second, these are really difficult to clean (though they do seem to hold up in a dishwasher.) The one bottom insert never seems to fit just quite right in either bowl, and is essetually useless. I eat a lot of popcorn and these buckets are nice and light compared to cermaic ones. I do wish they were as easy to clean as the ceramic ones.

I love popcorn

Perfect size for sharing. I like concept of the grate on the bottom to sort the unopposed kernels but in actuality it got in the way when I tossed the popcorn to spread the toppings. I just don’t use the grate.

Nice sized Bowl but Kernel Catcher does not stay in "snapped" in place

For Large Hutzler Popcorn Bucket: - The Great: This is a perfect sized bowl to hold two 3.0+ oz bags of microwave popcorn. - The Bad (minus 2 Stars): the Kernel Catcher does not stay "snapped" in place. There are tiny ridges near the bottom of the bowl that are suppose to hold the catcher in place - I guess. Sometimes I can hear the snap when I insert the catcher. But it doesn't matter. When I shake the bowl to distribute salt or butter the catcher comes loose and goes diagonal instead of laying flat. It defeats the purpose completely. Note: I bought this in a "Used - Like New" condition for about a 3rd the normal price. So maybe mine is somehow defective. But looking at it, I don't see how it would ever snap in place securely and remain properly attached. Note 2: If all you want is a nice sized bowl for popcorn, then it is perfect. I would buy again for that purpose alone - but not at full retail price.

Perfect for our air popper

We have a Presto air popper that is about 18 years old, and when we popped popcorn, it would blow everywhere. This tub fits it perfectly. It is easy to clean and the strainer at the bottom does a decent job of filtering out unpopped kernels. That being said, the one we received has the strainer. I don't know who the supplier is that must be removing them that people are complaining about. If if have any comments about this product, it's that I wish they made a larger model! We love popcorn!

Dissappointing

Much smaller than expected, doesn't hold very much popcorn even for one person. Not good value for money.

Hutzler Popcorn bucket

Nice popcorn bucket. Even though it is made of plastic, it is quite heavy duty plastic and it looks good. The raised plastic grate at the bottom really dose work. We have used it several times now and don't get any unpoped kernals mixed in with the popcorn. Also like the size. It can hold a lot of popcorn!!

MISSING KERNEL CATCHER AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT WON'T GET BACK TO ME

I ordered this, and while the quality is alright (it is cheaper plastic than it looks) there is no kernel catcher. Disappointed as I can't get ahold of Amazon or the seller - guess it's time for a chargeback.

Perfect size

Great size, the separator at the bottom is a nice feature and the only downside is the fact that it is a hair magnet, so keep you hands off from the inside wall, otherwise perfect and recommended.

Great popcorn bowl!

Love the size, caught all the kernels while popping with my air popper. It also looks cute for movie night. Well worth the price and the kernel catcher is a nice add-in.
