light bulbs, can't find replacement

I hate the color bulbs that came with fan!! Makes my whole kitchen look yellow, I want white, can't find bulbs to replace these, no stores around me sell them, wish I would have checked this part out! If you sell fans, what about replacing light bulbs????

Provides so much light to my room

I've been without a light in my bedroom for over a year. I finally found someone to install this ceiling fan for me and it is so nice to be able to see again. It is very light and brightens up the entire room. The installation went smoothly, and the unit appears to be very well made. It's winter so I haven't used the fan yet, but I did turn it on to try it out and it was very quiet. Very good quality product.

Can't attach fan motor braked to roof bracket

Fan is great once I got it up. It is actually quiet, or maybe my old one was just loud. Looks good. I had to use my old fan's brackets since there is no way to connect the roof bracket to the fan bracket. Maybe i was sent the wrong bracket, the directions didn't match the hardware in the box. It says in steps 4-6 to unscrew the four screw from the roof bracket, but the four screws were in the fan bracket, not the roof bracket. Then I was to attached the fan bracket to the roof bracket by insurting the screws from the bottom, through the fan bracket, and screw INTO the roof bracket. Makes sense, right? Well,, the hole in the roof bracket is bigger than the screws! The screws screw into the FAN bracket. The only way to screw them in would be from the top of the roof bracket, which is attached to the roof. No way to screw it in!! Manufacturer, please explain? I assume the wrong bracket was in the box. I know how to install things, so I am not dumb. The old one was screwed in the way it should be. But the new one seemed to be backwards.

I love Honeywell products – they are high quality, come with a manual with clear instructions, and have no parts that are missing. The same goes for this fan (Honeywell 50182). It moves tons of air around, and is very quiet while doing so. The fan was a breeze to install and you can easily replace the lightbulbs if you are looking for something that is brighter. Looks great, works great. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly high quality for price

Bought this to replace a bedroom fan that was out of balance past the point of no return (a kid with a ladder, and a ceiling fan, dont mix... crazy eh?). I though it was going to be a "brushed nickel" finish to match the rest of the house, but its much closer to a polished stainless steel. Very nice finish and everything seemed very high quality. Install was a breeze, and only took about 30min. No steel cable to hang the motor on while wiring it, but the mount system itself takes the weight while you wire, then just slip it out and tuck your wires back in to make room. You could likely leave them sticking out of the receptacle too if need, as long as the don't rub on the motor right below. This this is pretty quiet too! On full speed it puts out plenty of breeze. It came with 4 LED bulbs for the lights, and damn are those bright! Shouldn't have any issues with a dim living room. Definitely thinking of getting another and would recommend to others.

Installation time.

After a 2 hour battle installing the fan we were very pleased with the beauty of this ceiling fan. The screws are small and easy to drop while trying to install it. I recommend not attaching the fan blades until after you have installed the brackets for the blades. The wiring is easy to attach and instructions were good. Overall a very good beautiful ceiling fan.

Best Bang for Your Buck!!!

This ceiling fan is one of the best buys I have ever gotten from Amazon and my husband and I cannot believe how beautiful, efficient, quiet and how inexpensive it was. This is a great buy and worth every penny and a great investment. Not sorry for purchasing this from Amazon and believe that I would never have found this great of a deal at any store in my area. Very happy with this purchase.
