Needed them and they were there
I haven't even thought about clothes pins since childhood when mom would hang the washing outside. However, found my shower curtain kept getting in my way when I was trying to clean the tub and alls, and the curtain ends would not stay slightly open to air the tub area, they just kept flapping shut against the tile wall. With these pins i can clip the ends open. I'll probably use the pins whenever I need to hang something to dry in the laundry room, something I don't have to do that often but every now and then something can't be tumble dried. They aren't as sturdy as the wood ones mom used to use but they do what I need them to do.

Clothes pins are like paper clips
They say that very few paper clips actually hold paper together. Well, none of the cloths pins I have bought have been used to hang clothes. I use them for chip bags, cereal bags, vegetable bags, gluing clamps and many other uses but somehow never clothes. These pins are nicely colored but are only medium strong. They are strong enough for most of my odd jobs but I also have other stronger ones for bigger tasks. Good value/price point for these pins though.

Adorable but not very strong
If you're looking to use these to hang clothes, look elsewhere. I got these to hang art projects in the playroom on some colorful ribbon. Totally cute, but pretty weak. They can handle a piece of tagboard with some buttons glued on it, but I don't think they could hold much more than that. Its a shame, too, because other than the weakness of the spring, they look really well made. They stay "aligned" when opening and closing (some clothespins slowly wiggle their way apart until one time, surprise, you go to open it and the whole thing springs apart on you....I'm a teacher, I know these things:), and the plastic is decently heavy. All in all a good quality clip, just not a very strong spring. Oh, and when I received them, the colors were actually blue, green, red, and *yellow*, which matched the color scheme of my playroom better than orange, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Clothespin Springs Are Weak
These plastic clothespins were selected because I needed a clothespin that could open wider than a typical wooden clothespin. They do have a nice wide notch that fits over the 1/2" EMT (electrical metallic tubing) that I use to hang clothes on because I cannot use a clothesline. My complaint with these clothespins is the weakness of the springs which allow clothes to be blown off the EMT if a strong breeze comes up. They are noticeably weaker than the old plastic clothespins I have. I put it down to some corporate bean counter that decided they could save a few pennies, or Yuan, if they just reduced the diameter of the spring wire a few thousandths of an inch or hundredths of a millimeter. Of course with all decisions the reasons are are not always apparent. Stronger springs might have required stronger plastic or stronger design which, again, my old plastic clothespins also had. Only time will tell how they hold up to Ultaviolet light degradation of the plastic. Update 6-17-2013. Make it one star. Four of the 24 in the package have broken so far, weakened by ultraviolet rays. I leave them outside on a shelf so there is exposure 24/7. It's become an amusing form of russian roulette waiting for the next one to break.

Not expensive and do the job
My wife does not experience any quality issues with them, using almost daily for 6 months now. Colors are good. And I appreciate the price. So it is a win-win product.

No son de buena calidad
Tienen un buen tamaño, pero no son de calidad. Los acabo de comprar y uno se rompió plástico y otro se zafó el resorte. No creo que duren mucho.
