Used for video. Painted helmet and it looked pretty realistic.

I found the fit to be snug but not too tight as desired. This is for fun and I used it fir a fun video for a charity. Painted it pink. Worked great. Looked realistic.

it depends on what you need it for

I purchased this for my autistic grandson that likes to pretend he is playing football so it didn't need to be a game playing protection. It would not be good for playing the sport.

I don't know what you would use this for. It appears to be totally made out of plastic. The only padding is a little bit by ears and a rectangle of about 2 x 3 in the very top. I would have give ZERO stars if I could.

Lightweight helment

I purchased this football helmet as part of a dance routine. It is perfect and affordable for our needs. Now I don’t think it’s is something anyone would use in a real football game but is lightweight and durable for any costume party or maybe tackle free practice
