Great bulbs, but intensely bright and yet the light cast by these is not...
If you intend to use this in a fixture or lamp where the bulb will be exposed at eye-level, be aware that it will be much too bright and distracting at full brightness. And the coloring of the light cast about with only one bulb was much too gloomy, even at that full brightness. The effect was like walking into a room with a signal beacon or something that immediately draws the eyes. It felt like being in a room with hypno-toad. We switched it up and placed it inside of a fixture that shaded the bulb more and was higher up, problem solved. The light itself is bright, but not so bright it blinds everyone, yet at the same time, the light cast through the fixture shade helps to set a casual, warm mood that is really welcoming. Doesn't make a lot of sense, I know, but it's true. The colors and light levels are pretty close to reality in the pics I've shared here. It's dim enough that we can watch a movie on the wall with our projector without issue (at full brightness), but still have enough light to see what we're doing. It works great as a large nightlight, so the kids can go up and down the stairs at night without too much fear. And it's also a nice entry light, which we supplement with other lights about the living room.

I love the led filament on these. Low electrical usage but you still get that classic look and glow.

Bulbs flickered initially - resolved
Initially concerned as the bulbs flickered when I first put them in. It didn't seem to resolve itself so I put the prior bulbs in (similar g25 LED just with clear glass) which did not have any issues. I had planned to return these but figured I'd give it a go again before throwing them away since I had procrastinated past the return window. Inexplicably the flicker was gone so I've updated my review. My suggestion would be to leave them in for a few days and see if the flicker resolves itself if that happens to you. The reason I still went 3 stars is because I was hoping the bulbs would be just a touch more amber tinted. This depends on the type of fixture you have and from what angle you'll be viewing the bulbs - but they have minimal amber tint if you view them from the top. I was hoping to get a rustic feel by just refinishing the old dressing room-looking vanity light and putting in an amber tinted edison bulb. I tried to save some money by going with these instead of the more expensive versions with a decorative filament; unfortunately the only benefit these provide in my case is a different light color that's hardly noticeable over a standard soft white bulb from Lowes. The lights work fine and look okay, but if you want a truly rustic look I would encourage you to opt for a decorative filament and/or darker amber glass.

Love these!!
Changes the entire look and feel of a room. I used them in an overhead light fixture in a big room. The fixture took 3 bulbs and was exposed (no cover). So not only was it an eyesore, regular lightbulbs made for such terrible lighting and hard to be under. I put these in and the entire room changed! It was warm but still totally functional as the only lighting source of the room. And since they were exposed, it added such a cool look to the room. Night and day!

Great LED Globe Lights for Price
I researched for hours to find globe lighting for a new chandelier that had had ordered. The big win is the ground globe look plus dimmable feature for these bulbs. Most other lights were standard bulb shape or the vintage long shape. Other options for GE and Phillips bulbs were much more expensive. These bulbs look great and are VERY bright. There is no "strobe" effect that you hear of on other LED bulbs. I have not yet installed my dimmer switches to test lighting at different levels but so far these bulbs are exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend to others!

Great Edison Bulbs!!
Bald Blended in perfectly and added a lot of Glitz to our kitchen lights. They're obviously easy to install and are adjustable for brightness. All of that and a great price too
