Generic plug
This got 4 stars because of the price 5 bucks for a plastic plug and O ring is a bit steep. But it fits my hayward pump and my sand filter drain. It comes with a rounded O ring my old one was flat but it worked. I put some pipe dope on the threads to keep the O ring lubed and just in case.

Works for hayward Hayward SP1580X15
I 3d printed a replacement and slapped some plumbers tape on the threads, which held enough to get the pump running, but it was still slowly leaking because I did not have a washer. It was a decent enough stopgap until I could order this. This did the trick and completely stopped the leak.

when putting out the Haywood s-166t pool filter I somehow lost the drain plug and ordered this one as a replacement. while the thread matches the screw hole fine, this plug does not get tight to a point where it stops spinning in the whole. This would allow a drop of water to escape at a rate of about 1 drip per second. I ran a few inches of Teflon tape on the threads and that seemed to help keep the water from dripping.

Solves the problem and it fits
Fits well and gaskets is good, seals the pump. Remember its plastic,don't over tighten.

Not the plug that I ordered, the description is wrong. It is not 7.6 cm. It is not metal. This is for the chemical additive port. Returning.
