2-Way Ball Valve

Used these on our above ground pool so I can turn off the skimmer and return when I need to empty the pump basket. It keeps the water from rushing out while the pump lid is off.

Made my life easier

Wish the price was less but instead of unscrewing the plug each time I need to drain the tank I just open this valve and works great so far. Seems to be good quality. Worth the purchase.

Works perfectly

I have this attached to the bottom of the Hayward Skimmer I have installed on the side of my pool. I use it to cut off the water when I need to service the pool pump. I have had absolutely no issues with it at all. Everything is sturdy and no water gets through when I shut off the water. It's been about 2 months now with no issues at all. I'll update if anything changes after the first season of use.

2 Years Old, Leaking

I bought two of these and after two years of use they are both leaking in the exact same spot. From what I can tell the ball valve is shot in both of them. They are not leaking from the threads, they are leaking in the middle after the ball valve. While I don't expect things like these to last forever I didn't think they would both leak after just 2 years of use (and I store my filter and pump inside during the winter so it wasn't exposed to the elements). If anyone knows of a brand that makes this part of a higher quality please let me know.

Does not allow for threaded attachment on the "Long side"

What you see is what you get. The one "Long side" takes a hose and the other female threaded side takes a threaded connector. I was hoping it would take threaded connections on both ends but no go. Quality is good for the low price.

These are great shut offs

I bought one of these and it works great no leaks. I wish I had bought two of these now.
