Couldn't be happier!
Our little indoor only kitty got outside on Thursday, freaked out and went about 30 feet up a 90 ft tall pine tree next to our house. She wouldn't come down, even during a severe storm that night. Next morning, she was nowhere to be seen. Two days later, we saw her lurking about the property, but - try as we might - she was still totally freaked out and wouldn't come near us. It was like she had immediately gone feral. Our hearts were broken and we were worried sick about what might befall her in our rural location due to predators. We put food out on our porch and she would come around in the early evening to eat, but would run away when approached. We were devastated. On Tuesday, it hit me that maybe I should use a live animal trap. I searched Amazon and found this trap, ordered it and hoped it would be the answer to our prayers. It arrived the next day (yesterday afternoon). I immediately went about getting it set up and prayed it would do the job. I kept an eye on the trap and got so excited when she showed up and, after sniffing around for a bit, she went in. I was crushed when her light weight didn't trip the trap. After thinking about it for a minute, I decided to adjust the setting of the trap release arm (connecting rod) to right before the point of release. Holding our breath and hoping for the best, we waited about another hour before she returned to the trap. Our prayers were answered - IT WORKED!! We immediately brought our kitty into the house and let her out. She went and hid for about ten minutes - then came out and acted like nothing had happened at all, but she does seem to be a bit more clingy to us than she was before this happened. I cannot thank the makers of this product enough. And thanks to Amazon Prime, it was only 1 1/2 days from the time of placing the order to the time we had a little girl back in the house, safe and sound. THANK YOU!!!

BEST, AMAZING, GOT 'EM!
This bold possum kept coming from the woods and onto my porch on a nightly basis. Tearing up my hydrangeas in the front garden bed. I used other baits and "techniques" lol and they didn't work. I sliced up fresh oranges, apples, and made a trail leading into the cage that culminated with fresh wet cat food. You can use a long spatula or a garden gripper arm /trash pickup arm to lay the cat food in the very back. The NEXT AM, he was comfortably caged and still had ample room to wiggle around. I will humanely transfer him to another wooded area in another zip code. I bet he won't try me again. His friends and family can get it too.

I have to give this product 5 stars. At first I was hesitant to buy it. But since I have many temporary raccoon visits in my patio and they really destroy it, I thought about buying something durable and, the truth is that this cage is strong and fulfilled its purpose from the very first day it was received! That same night I put half a tomato sprinkled with honey in a plastic tray, inside the cage and in the morning the raccoon was inside, which was taken to a park 10 miles away, where raccoons and other wild animals proliferate. I encourage you to buy it.

Works perfectly
I accidentally let in a feral cat which was a disaster. He hid immediately totally fearful. I could never find him in the house even though I looked under furniture. I never saw him for days but found he was using my sofa as a litter box and marking his territory on anything I used or my cat used. He only came out when I was at work or sleeping. Desperate to get him outside I bought this product. It comes already set up. The operating instructions in the manual weren’t clear to me but they have a 60 second video. When I watched it I said well this is easy. I used a spatula so I could get a food bowl all the way into the back. Drawing on suggestions of others here I didn’t put out any food in the morning so that by night time he’d be hungry. I set it up where the food normally is and took my cat to bed and closed the door. The next morning when I came down I saw the gate had closed and inside was the feral cat. I used the handle to carry it outside and made sure to close the door behind me. When I opened the gate he shot out like a cannon racing 100 yards through my back yard and into the woods. He is safe and where he belongs all because of this excellent product that can trap very large cats like he was. I highly recommend this product.

Works great!
This trap has worked well for us multiple times. It's very large. We are trapping groundhogs and there's room for 2 to fit in there. We've also accidently caught raccoons and possum. We'd recommend this trap.

Good but really needs an additional door
This trap is sturdy and well built for the most part. Putting the food bowls in was a bit of a pain. I had to push them to the back with a stick. There should be a door that allows the food bowls/bait to be put in. To be fair, it did the job and trapped an outdoor cat. BTW, Kentucky Fried Chicken is irresistible to cats!

Seems like a good design, But...
I think it will work well to catch pesky critters, and it appears sturdy. The only issue I had is that it arrived bent so the whole frame was off by 1.5" leaving a gap on one side of the door. The problem appears to be there is no solid frame, it is all wire mesh so it bends easily and is very difficult to get it back square again, must have been damaged in shipping. It still closes properly but it might provide a space for larger critters to start prying on the door. We'll see....

Humane and good quality!
We had some feral cats hanging around that kept having kittens, so we kinda were infested with them. We got this live trap because it doesn't hurt them, and it is big enough and strong enough that they could get in but couldn't get out. It is made with good quality steel. Even though it has been out in the rain for a week, it hasn't rusted after a month. To trap the cats I put a cover over the cage to disguise it. For about 4 days, I tied the door open so that the trap wouldn't go off, and the cats could get used to the trap without being scared. I put food out every day, but each day I moved the food deeper inside the trap. Once they trusted it, I set the trap to catch them. Once caught, I get a jute bag and put over the opening. Then I open the trap, and they run into the bag. I can safely relocate them without harm to me or the cat. I usually only catch one at a time, but I have caught two at once, and they both fit in there peacefully. This is one of the best investments we have made!

Best in the market...
Got it delivered today and we caught the troubling cat on the first ever trap itself... this is the best product, very easy to use, highly efficient and effective... Edit 1: It's been 1 month and we have caught 3 cats till now within 24 hours after laying the trap... Edit 2: It's been 1 whole year and we have caught 20 cats till now... Works so flawlessly...
