Good temp Foal halter

I'm giving this halter a 4 only because it does run kinda big. I have a huge 16h gelding with a pretty heft head on his neck and we had to adjust this to the smallest holes in there. Besides that I love this halter! Is nylon for sturdiness with a leath breakaway strap behind the ears. He's very comfortable in it and really high quality from what I can see.

Nice halter

Nice breakaway halter. It is a little big for my Arabian yearling when a standard yearling halter fits him well. Too many loose parts to hook on things in the pasture (which is, after all, why you would need a break away halter). However it is pretty and very well made. Could make it fit my yearling if i were to cut some additional holes for the buckles.

Quality halter with leather head poll piece

This is a very high quality halter, and despite my measuring what I needed, my young burro will have to grow some more before she can wear it. The quality of the workmanship is very excellent and I know that it will be comfortable for her when it fits. All joints are well stitched, smooth and it is a strong and well made halter. Plus very pretty! Thanks for having items that are so nice. We look forward to using this on our female burro.

Well constructed but a bit too loose.

Attractive, well constructed halter with a quality leather headband. The one thing I wasn't happy with was the adjustable nose strap. Once I used the last hole, the halter was still too big around the nose. With that issue the halter moved too much and rubbed in spots.

Fit perfectly

I was a little concerned about the size, but a friend ordered the same halter for her horse, and it was fairly large. Mine looked tiny in the package, but it fit perfectly! My horse wears a cob size halter or bridle (and she is an Appy, how about that?!)

Fit well

Great halter for the price. Had a good fit, with plenty of adjustments. Fit my quarter horse starting at nine months. Would have fit for a good year but she ended up breaking it (which was a good thing).

Very misleading as it says "leather head poll" and it ...

Very misleading as it says "leather head poll" and it does not come with a leather head poll! I had to choose on whether to buy the leather head poll or just return it and buy a halter WITH a leather head poll. I chose to return it as I could buy a halter and leather head poll for less money.
