Works Great

I bought this to help me install an Electric dog fence system. I used it to trench to buy the wire. It has great power and worked perfect for this project. I am sure it will work great as edger as well.

Works well does the job priced right.

The price was right and this has saved me a ton of time around the house, driveway and pool. This greenworks edger was the lower cost option when comparing and I took a chance it is well built and durable with plenty of power. My only complaint is the design although I do think it is a complaint with many of these is the imbalance of the handle top heavy and can just about stay upright on its own let alone with a cord plugged in, I wish there was an option to extend the rear wheel back further or even an additional wheel on the back to maintain balance.

This is about the Greenworks Edger

Arrived yesterday on time in a large box showing the item inside. The edger is fully assembled except for the handle that comes apart in two places and is secured with 2 bolts and tighting handle. NOTE...the bolts have a square area near the top that coincides with a square opening on the shaft. ALSO..there is a electric cord that runs from the handle to the edger that goes through the shaft and will cause foul language to be spoken as you try and work the stupid bolt thru the lousy hole. Took me 15 minutes of swearing and sweating to finally accomplish. After that I gave it a trial run on the driveway and as you can see from the pictures it did a great job! Took about 15 minutes to finish. I was using a manual edger before this. ( looks like beer can with spikes ) It was a bear to use and made this edger even better. If it were not for the round bolts into square holes IT WOULD have been 5 stars all the way.

My first edger. Works pretty well.

Pros: Least expensive edger Cuts the edge Has plenty of adjustments Quiet Cons The edge made with the stock blade is a little "rough". Might need a different blade to get a squarer cut. Cuts better "in reverse" which makes it hard to "steer"

Good Edger BUT it doesn’t cut Florida grass real well

I would probably give this edger 5 stars if it could cut thru Florida’s vine like grass. I tried using a string edger, and all it did was break the string. This edger at least cuts through the vines of my lawn, it’s just not as clean and easy as it would be on a normal lawn. Florida lawns are mostly thick vines, and I don’t think anything could cut through them clean. Lawns outside of Florida tend to be more blades, and this string would do a great job on those! It was very easy to assemble and it is very easy to use. The front wheel adjustments works great for creating a nice trench for your edge.

Funciona perfectamente, llevo meses utilizándolo y quedanbastante bien los bordes. Lo incómodo es el cable de alimentación que se me enreda pero por el precio y la calidad lo volvería a comprar.
