Very effective compression stocking to reduce lower leg edema, but very tight

The sock calf-high sock is the most effective that I've worn to keep edema of the lower legs from forming. However, they are very tight, difficult to put on, and are not absorbent of moisture. I wear them on my work days and at the end of the day, when I take them off, there is no edema. However, I'm happy when I have them off and can wear the more comfortable less tight cotton socks.

They offer "medium support" which was enough for me

I think the price is good for these socks. I have paid almost double this price in the past. The thing to remember is if you need a really strong support for your legs, these socks aren't going to provide that. I only needed the medium support and for that it works well.

Thinner than expected.

The foot portion of these socks was thinner than I expected. The leg portion was thicker.

Love these socks.

I've been wearing this Gold Toe sock for many years. These new ones are a little different from the ones I used to buy. but they fit and feel pretty much the same. The old ones NEVER wore out. We'll see how these new ones hold up
