Perfect combination of firmness and agressiveness!

Where do I begin with this roller...? I am an endurance runner and over time, I have built up somewhat of an immunity to regular entry level foam rollers and have been looking for something more intense to achieve the results I am looking for, both pre and post workouts. The GoFit Extreme Massage Roller was exactly what I was looking for. It is great combination of firm foam, but not too firm. It is an aggressive roller, but not too aggressive. There are other "aggressive" rollers on the market that I have tried that are either too firm or too bumpy. It is also the perfect size. This "jewel" is 13-inches and at this size, it allows me to easily travel from race to race with it. It is the perfect travel companion and when times get tough like it did this past weekend, when I was stuck in an airport overnight due to my flight being cancelled, it also works great as a pillow...In all seriousness, I wish I would have found this roller years ago. I feel like a new man due to this product, even after the toughest and longest runs.

This is a great way to work out those pesky pains

This is a great way to work out those pesky pains. It is portable and travels in my backpack or suitcase. I like it so much that I gave one to my Physical Therapist. Read the instructions that come with it, but you can invent your own ways to use it like I did. I looked at all the other items that try to do the same thing. But this one has a unique pattern that really simulates what a Physical Therapist does with precise localized pressure. It has helped me with sever back pain over the last 12 months. Now I just use it for a quick fix from time to time.

Extreme yes - and too much for this guy!

It is exactly as picture though for me it is too "gnarly." The knobs are just too much extending too far out and too far apart causing my calves (no doubt smaller than many) to slip into the in-between spaces. Where the knobs hit it is explosive but I find myself working harder to maneuver the device too much to cover all of the muscle rather than back and forth. Instead it is back, move, forth, adjust,back, scoot, forth, angle, etc. And the pauses reduce the impact. So a great device I would say for larger muscles perhaps but just too "extreme" for me.

Great for Travel but a Bit Small for Regular Use

This is one of the best rollers out there. The plastic core is solid and the bumps are firm (but not hard) rubbery knobs that really do a good job of breaking down knots in muscles. The size was good for traveling, and I like that the core is hollow so I can stuff it with clothing in my suitcase. However, for regular home use, I think 18" would work better than 13". I would reserve this for travel use only.

Practical and affordable roller.

As an avid runner, cyclist, and climber this product has provided me with almost instant relief when dealing with cramps and sore muscles. When used properly, as suggested by manufacturer, this roller applies strong pressure to trouble areas after a tough workout. It is also a good device for loosening the body prior to exercise as it relieves tense muscles in minutes. It seems to be durable, affordable and very practical. A must have in any home gym!

i am happy with my new roller

I ordered this from Amazon but it never arrived. I ended up buying it locally and I am happy with it. We have a regular foam roller we got from the chiropractor but I saw this randomly searching Amazon and decided to try it. It is much more intense than a regular roller. It kind of takes your breath away because it really penetrates your muscles. The one thing I don't like is how small it is. My foam roller is probably 4ft long. This is about 1 ft long so you are limited to what you do with it.

This is really nice for rolling out the tight spots in your back - it works far better for me because it has a solid hollow core, and doesn't squish badly like most rollers. The nubs allow you to apply pressure to the tight spots, and add a very nice feel. Despite my 250 pounds, the roller feels sturdy and well built

Good for hamstrings

I have a smooth foam roller but I get really tight hamstrings from running and that foam roller as well as the massage balls and gun never seem to get to the hamstring so I decided to try this one and was quite pleased. It definitely feels like it gets deeper and is better for the hamstring. I will continue to use the smooth one for my back, calves, quads, etc but this is great for the hamstrings.

Best roller on the market!

I have used this roller for 6 years. The design is perfect and gets all the spots. I struggle with chronic pain and also recovering from birth and the Go Fit roller helped me recover and keep well. It’s is awesome no matter if you can do a lot of just a little!

Excellent for the back!

I already had the stretch mate back stretcher, which helped, but I always wished I could work specific areas and apply as much pressure as I want. This GoFit allows me to do that. It has reduced my back stiffness, and softened pressure points. Using this and doing daily pushups eliminates my upper back pain. I ordered a second one for my father, after he tried it and was very impressed. I use it on my upper back. I find it important to tuck my chin down and use my hands to support my neck, with arms parallel to the ground and elbows pointing away from that body (as illustrated in the included helpful manual).

Gets rid of knots!!

Tight muscles?? This is the roller for you. I pulled my left glute and this is the Only Thing that has helped relieve the tightness. Also great for tight back muscles. I use this right before I sleep and everything just releases.
