My dishwasher is all fixed! Original issue: The dishwasher ran twice and the dishes were still dirty. When we took out the bottom tray we noticed the plastic spinner was melted and the heating coil at the bottom was warped. This happened because the circulatory motor stopped working! Now: Put this motor in, added a new heater coil, and new spinner. My dishes are clean! Motor was pretty easy to install - lots of how to videos to follow online.

Fit perfectly!
This pump was to replace the pump in my 2005 Frigidaire dishwasher. When I bought the dishwasher, a "new" feature was the permanent magnet DC motor used for the circulator pump. This new design was supposed to be much more quiet than the conventional induction motor. It was true, the new dishwasher cleaned great and you didn't have the annoying hum of a conventional motor - just a faint higher pitched whine from the brushes. My main concern at the time was that the carbon brushes would wear out in a few years. Well, I was wrong. After 9 years of being used once or twice a day, the carbon brushes were worn about 50%. It was the plastic impeller that lost its press fit on the motor shaft and started slipping - resulting in dirty dishes. You can't replace the impeller, you have to replace the entire assembly. In any case, the dishwasher is cleaning like new again.

Perfect fit. Took about 20 minutes total to replace, including taking the dishwasher out and such. The adapter was not needed. Dishwasher works good as new! How to replace 1.) Make sure the dishwasher is drained 2.) Turn of power to dishwasher 3.) Turn of water to dishwasher 4.) Remove anchors from counter attaching the dishwasher 5.) Pull out dishwasher and lean it on something, or lay it on it's face (water may come out, put a towel down) 6.) There is a metal bracket holding the current motor in, unscrew the two screws holding the metal bracket in 7.) Slide the metal bracket away from the dishwaser. 8.) Take notice which way the motor is oriented. 9.) Remove power cable from motor (need to push the latch to remove) 10.) Give a good pull and wiggle to the motor and it should pop out. 11.) Put the sealing rings on the new motor (two) 12.) Put the new motor in the oriented the same way as the old motor. Just give a good push and wiggle. 13.) Do the instructions in reverse to put it back together.

No More Leaks -- Much More Quiet -- And Dishes Seem To Be Cleaner!
My dishwasher no longer leaks and is much more quiet now. My dishwasher started leaking a few weeks ago and after taking notice of where the leak came from I determined it was the shaft seal on this motor which, sadly, does not appear to be serviceable so I ordered this new motor from Amazon and it did the trick -- no more leaks! Note: if your dishwasher was leaking around the area of this motor, try and determine if it is the two seals that come with this motor or not first, because if it is just the two large o-rings you can order those separately. Only after removing mine and inspecting it and the existing o-rings, did I determine it was the shaft seal. I just figured I would throw that out there to potentially save someone some money.

Worked like a Charm
I bought this product as I was having spray issues with my Dish Washer. I have a guy (local service guy for home appliances) and he charged me $70 and told me what the issue was... I then found this product on line at amazon, and watched a YouTube video on how to replace this motor (I watched it twice). My choices where the following: Service Guy: -$70 service call (paid) - $350 for part - $250 for install Amazon/Self: -$190 for part -40 minutes of my time I went with the part and I have been though at least 25 dish washes and have zero leaks or issues.
