Best forstner bits made.
Don't waste time on cheap bits! I do a lot of wine stave wood working and this is the best I've used. Long lasting sharpness --- very high quality.

Fast and sharp
I used it to make a peg board in a pressure treated 2x8. It was fast and accurate for the 8 holes I needed. I used a 20v hand drill with this bit.

Awesome forstner bits at a Great price
I had dreamed of owning a set of Fisch wave forstner bits for my woodworking one day, but at the price I just could not justify them even with their high quality, that's when I stumbled across the frued serrated edge forstner bits, essentially the same design these forstner bits cut clean smooth holes for a long time, I actually bought the 7 piece set but need a couple bigger sizes for making a spice storage rack for my wife. let me tell you these are the same quality I have expected from freud they are high quality and long lasting and at the price point for the quality you are getting makes it even better. now i cannot compare these to Fisch wave bits but i can say that these have lasted far longer and maintain their edge far better than any other CMT or like forstner bit i have owned in the past.

Precise, Clean Hole - Sharp and Cuts in Moments
I needed a sizable wood drill bit to cut the holes in my countertops for sink fixtures. I read some reviews online for other similar bits and some mentioned poor cutting or single-use. This drill bit is a BEAST. I have used it several times and it smashes through the wood leaving a very precise clean hole. I couldn't have completed my sink installation without it. I give this 5 stars because it is exactly what I needed. Tip, use a shop vac and hold the nozzle close as you drill to suck up the filings, this bit cuts fast and so there is a lot of debris.

Excellent
This bit is excellent. It cuts smoothly, consistently, and accurately. This is by far the best brand of bit I’ve ever used. Although it’s not cheap, the price reflects its quality and performance. If you want clean cuts buy this bit.

Hungry bit
I got one of those new peep holes for my front door, you know the ones that are about 2.25" at the widest. Well I didn't like the one end being so free to move around and I wanted to drill a stepped hole and this was the bit I drilled through my 1.75" thick solid wood front door first naturally, in a hand-held electric drill. Man did this baby eat wood. These bits are not generally meant to be used hand-held but I had no choice. Eat eat chomp chomp devour. I had no problem getting what I wanted with this bit. I know it will be in my tool boxes for a long time and will serve me well again. Quality bit. Does the job.

Très déçu de la qualité de cet outil. Généralement les outils de la marque Freud sont de bien meilleure qualité. Après seulement une vingtaine de trous l'outil est déjà brûlé, très très déçu. Very disappointed with the quality of this tool. Generally Freud brand tools are of much better quality. After only about twenty holes the tool is already burned, very very disappointed.

Worked well. Had it on a 10" extension to drill out center of 6"x6" post for a 1.5" galvanized post to slide into.
