Good for the price

Fit as expected in size 10.5. However if you have a wider foot or larger volume foot, these probably aren't for you. I like the black leather on these boots in a sort of matte finish, not too shiny. Like most fashion boots I've owned, these come with an annoying pull tab in the back. Perfectly designed for catching the hem of your trousers every few steps - yeesh. There is no need for a pull tab on boots that have elastic sides, they are very easy to pull on. But that's what a good knife is for - just a couple of quick cuts and voila - no more pull tabs (see pic). Boots didn't need much break in time, comfortable from the start. Can't comment on durability because I just started wearing them.

Sole construction less than desirable

The shoe looks great and fits comfortably, even with an added insole (I'm flat footed, so that's pretty much a necessity). The construction holds up well, but the rubber sole is already starting to split from the harder materials, after only 4 months of use. I'm already about to need to get them resoled, which will cost half the price of the shoe again. I was hoping they'd last a little longer before needing that... Edit: photos added to show wear of the heel and where it's peeling away from the rest of the sole.

As expected just fine but loop on back could be bigger to get finger in to pull on, not a big deal.
