Make sure they will fit your recessed lighting fixture.

In the first picture you will see that the new LED bulb (on the left) is not exactly the same shape as my old Incandescent bulb (on the right) The bulge prevented it from fitting in my recessed lighting fixture. I was about to return them but when I pulled the fixture from the ceiling (picture #2) I saw that I could adjust the depth. When I did it lowered the socket and now the bulb does fit. in the last picture (#3) I can see that these LED bulbs (on left) are a little brighter than my old bulb (on right) so they are the equivalent to 65 Watts. Please make sure these will fit your recessed light.

Each bulbs acts differently

Two bulbs in hallway ceiling fixtures. Each acts differently. The good one has instant on/off. Like an old-school bulb. No flickering. The bad one fades out when you turn it off. Not instant. It will flicker occasionally, too. The lightswitch has to be played with (on/off/dim position) to make it stop.

Typical LED bulb - harsh light that is not warm and not at all like incandescent. I returned them.

While these bulbs were certainly bright, they were not particularly warm and I found the light to be harsh. These bulbs have a 90+ CRI, which helps with the color rendition, but it still falls short in my opinion. Even though I only had them installed for a few minutes, I could tell that they made me tense and uptight. I know that sounds strange, but that's the best way I can describe it. I'm still searching for a BR30 LED bulb that is warm and soft. So far, I haven't found one. I think manufacturers need to try harder to reproduce the warm and soft light that is produced by incandescent bulbs.

Energy efficient and cool to the touch

The light bulbs are pleasing to the eye, at least my eyes. They have an incandescent color to them. The provide sufficient illumination for my needs.

Bright light

I purchased them as a replacement for a faulty light in my kitchen and was well pleased at the quality of the bulbs. And extremely pleased pleased with the brightness of the blubs.
