Smarter pill organizer

I saw one of these at the grocery store and got it on a whim, quickly discovered it was a solid upgrade from ordinary pill organizers, with the bottom prying off so you can fill it from underneath (without the lids in the way). Clever. Speeds up loading the thing. So I ordered two more from Amazon and they are making my life an eentsy-weentsy bit easier. For travel, however, they're kinda big, but if you were going abroad for six weeks, a couple of these might be as handy as anything you could carry. If you do use them for travel, take pictures of your prescription bottles and save them on your phone in case you get stopped by airline security or need to show them to a doctor if you're ill, or something.

Great organizer, but only lasts a few months.

The caps started to snap off after a few months. It's a problem I've run into with several organizers like these. I guess the plastic connecting them is not up to repetitive use.

Small compartments

I love this pill container!!

I have some high maintenance tendencies and have been known to look a loooong time before making a choice. This pill case is one of those items. The features I wanted: ~AM and PM to be different colors. Most seem to have each day of the week as a different color. I take the same pills every morning, so I don't care about the days of the week being different colors. If I accidentally take a different mornings pills, I'll simply take the other days tomorrow. However, I take different pills in the evening and don't want to accidentally take my AM pills in the evening if I'm distracted, or I'll be up all night. ~Translucent color flaps that I can see through. I like that, without opening the flap, I can see if that day has pills in it or not. It's a little thing, but it's helpful. ~Compact but to hold what I needed it to. This is nice and compact (see pic with Comcast remote next to it). Much smaller than what I've had in the past...but each pocket holds half a dozen pills Easily, including the big-ass fish oil pills. ~Easy to fill. Most pill containers are a bit of a pain to fill as the little flaps want to partially close on you while you're doing your weekly refill...not this one!! It opens from the bottom and is super easy to refill (see pic)! And the distinctive AM & PM colors make it easy not to mix up which goes where. I Love This Feature! ~Secure. This one gave me pause as some of the reviews complained about pills spilling & hinges breaking. When I got it in the mail, I instantly ran my finger firming over each side. None of them seemed loose. I've had it a couple of months now and none of the hinges seem to be getting loose or ready to break. However, paying heed to those reviews, I also haven't simply tossed it in a bag and risked pills coming loose. I have a drawer that I keep it in and when I go on trips I will put rubberbands over the flaps, just to be safe. The only feature that this one doesn't have is the ability to pop out an individual days pill container, if you're going to be gone for a day or two and don't want to bring the whole thing. My hubby has that style and it's pretty cool. However, I don't see how that feature could be added to the bottom opening up feature and I use that Much more often. I am very happy with this pill container and would Definitely recommend it! :)

Nice middle size pill case, neat features

I've had this pill case for a couple weeks now and it seems to be holding up well. Time will tell, but I don't use pill containers for traveling, I use them for organizing my medication on a daily basis so I know I'm taking medication when I'm supposed to take it. This container really is a "medium" pill container. It's not small, it's not large, it's right in-between, a perfect size. It's large enough to take things like fish oil pills but not cavernous enough to make you question your life choices. My problem with large pill containers is that I get to the end of the week and discover there were pills that I didn't take because when I flipped the container over into my hand, some small pill stayed in the container. Small containers are great in this regard, but unfortunately fish oil, potassium supplements, etc. don't fit. The ability to fill this from the bottom is great, and should help slow the wear & tear on opening & closing the individual day doors. However I would like some illustration or something when opened as to which side is day and which side is night on the bottom panel would be great. Maybe raised letters or something, I dunno. Once I get used to which color is which I guess this'll be less of a problem. I may break out the sharpie. My only real problem is the single letter illustration for each day. Saturday and Sunday are at opposite ends of the container but if you wake up on a dimly lit morning and pick up the container, which S is which isn't readily apparent because S upside down is still S. I wrote Sa and Su in sharpie so I'd know. Similarly Tuesday and Thursday got Tu and Th sharpied. If they had used two letters instead of one this container would be damn near perfect in my book. To be honest in a couple weeks if I don't see any issues I'm going to buy another one just so if it does break or get loose I can swap it out without having to go through the long sad hunt for another medium size pill container.

Love this

I have had many pill cases in my years. This one is the best. It opens from the bottom and is easier to fill. If s pill goes into the wrong “day” you can close it up, open that “day” and get it out. Simplicity is always best.

Needs better latches

I've purchased at least six of these over time, and every time I have to replace them because one of the latches wears out. In looking at my order history it looks like they usually last me a year, but this last one only lasted 6 months before one of the latches wore out. The are also not reliable for travel because the doors open easily so I pop one in a ziploc bag. What I do like about them: - Small compact size - The back door that makes them easy to fill - Different colors available - I fill two of them at a time so I can go two weeks between refilling and can tell them apart.

This is a replacement for the one I had. I have had the original for more than ten years and it wore out and I like it so well that I bought another one.
