Sturdy and easy to install

We wanted a solid metal handle instead of the more available plastic kind. This is good sturdy material and it took me less than 5 minutes to install, including the removal of the old plastic handle. Happy with the purchase.

Very very sturdy! Wish it came with installation directions

After a few tries I figured out how to install/mount this. Having directions included in the box would have been very nice. Now that it's in, though, it is INCREDIBLY STURDY and looks great. Highly recommended.

WOW - really awesome but it doesn't fit right

First - this thing is 100% sturdy and probably indestructible. Only one problem - the square shank is too small. This might be an issue with the one I got so I am asking Amazon to send another. Just to be clear the purpose of square shank is to prevent the unit rotating. A little play might be okay - but if the unit rotates enough to lift the flush valve then you are going to have a running toilet. In my case the amount of play was excessive. Note: On these units the square shank is brass not plastic. The manufacturer might have decided to go undersize on the square shank because brass has less give than plastic.

Very Sturdy / Well Made

Heavy Duty / Straight Forward Install

This is a heavy duty metal handle and arm assembly. I was impressed with the quality of it's build. Pros: Brass swing arm and inner assembly. No plastic. The flush handle and outer nut that screws into the inner assembly is chrome plated metal. There are upper and lower limiting bars that restrict how far up and down (the resting position) the brass swing arm moves. Cons: No instructions. Have to have a little mechanical sense, but not much. Install: Remove the philips head screw from the flush handle and remove the handle and swing arm. Unscrew the outer chrome nut from the inner brass assembly. NOTE - this is a reverse thread. Righty loosie, lefty tightly. Place the square head of the brass assembly into the hole in your tank from the inside. Rescrew the chrome outer nut into the brass assembly snugly. Remember it is reverse threaded. Put the brass swing arm back into the brass assembly from the inside. Place the flush handle back onto the swing arm threads, adjusting the handle to what ever position you want it to be and put the screw back into the handle and tighten snugly. Adjust the flapper chain to a slightly slacked length and connect to the swing arm. Test flush and tighten, adjust components as needed. Overall I'm very satisfied. This took me ten minutes and was a much better option than those other plastic replacement parts. Well worth the price.

Great, needs some tweaking

I have replaced hundreds of toilets over the years and I have flushed probably Tens of Thousands in my life and this is by far the nicest one I ever used! I know sounds crazy but it is true. It has a nice solid feeling and the internals are stout! My only complaint is that every few flushes I need to tighten the screw that attaches the handle on. Not a huge deal, I mean actually it's a pain. You can't just tighten it, because then the handle will stick and your toilet will just keep running, and nobody wants to chase a toilet! Just snug it until it functions correctly. The wait a day or two and repeat. If this was not an otherwise perfect handle I would have returned it by now because it is annoying me. However it is really satisfying to use. Still 5 stars!

No Plastic Parts

This is a quality product that should last longer than the 2 years the plastic one i installed lasted. There's no instructions but it's very easy to install. Take the silver screw out from the handle, Unscrew the silver base, clockwise and take off along with the rubber washer (these will go on the outside of the tank). Insert the rest from the inside, keeping the gold nut straight in the hole. Rescrew on the silver base, counter clockwise and make sure your rubber washer is between the outside tank and silver base. Snug tighten it then put your handle back on with the silver screw and your done.

This is really commercial grade

Maybe a gorilla could break this (with the whole toilet going with it) because this is all metal, heavy, and beefy construction. Has metal limiters so people cant over pull or bar cant drop too much. If you had problems with handles on public/commercial bathrooms, this is the solution.
