The positive reviews here are spot on, however, so is Smed's negative review. What I found surprising is that the fabric feels so good - as good or better than cotton ...I did not think this was possible with synth (I have tried a number of them). I was concerned the band would feel binding, I have found maybe one model of one brand with this type of wide-banded briefs that don't cause me grief after a while. While the band on these feels positively supportive, its not binding (squeezing) and/or cutting in, and its not bulky at all - which I also have issues with. I don't yet know how I feel about the seam down the middle in front, I fear it could be a source of chaffing, but no complaint so far. I have a bit of mountain-outdoor-sporting gear (and motorcycle riding gear), and surprisingly this rates better in most respects. I am partial to my cotton Hane's type stock, but I don't wear it/cotton when 'sporting'... but none of my mountain/riding gear feels quite that comfortable on my skin, but the benefits otherwise make me feel better. I was very surprised, these are not only better as far as support, they are actually extremely comfortable in almost all respects... Edit/Update... I gotta say, though, they need to give appropriate thought to "the package" area. The name says "Give-N-Go", but they don't describe anything about the package zone stretching out somewhat to accommodate the need, and after a week or so I am not seeing that happen either... The the package on these seems like what I would imagine women's undies design should be... smooth and round in that area... where I would expect there should be somewhat of a 'basket' (you know, some sort of 'letting out' of the material there) so the goods can breathe (and be stewarded/held appropriately for their bulk, not simply bundled/bound/squeezed up into the front area). A lot of posts here talk about how comfortable they are after long term wear, but I am here to tell you - they are what they are, and there is no "giving" taking place for the package. I tried various methods for stretching out the package zone to see if I could affect a basket there - but anything I accomplished (nice while it lasted) was temporary. It eventually returns to its primary state more or less. I am having a hard time giving these any stars due to that one serious flaw. I think this must be where Smed was coming from when he posted his negative review. What, did they never model and test their product, obtain feedback from men, or what? These are very expensive underwear. They have superior construction-design, but they fail in the form-design. I am finding I am not able to find comfort wearing these without some package room - its too constricting for me. And its too inconvenient to be working on stretching 'em out all the time (overnight in advance kind of thing). I gave it some time and have back to update my post ...and downgrade my rating. Its a shame, but for this one lacking feature I say you're better off investing in something else. This design simply doesn't work.
