My son was very excited to open these. They can be used as a game or as mini figures(not for children under the age of 3)

product picture description is a bit off there are no toads at all in this game game was purchased so i could make more characters for monopoly gamer so was a bit disappointing would have been 5 stars had it had the toads, has multiple marios

Cheap

Way to expensive for what you get. Only redeeming thing is that my daughter loves it because it’s Super Mario but not the quality you would expect for the price.

Kids are happy with them, makes it a win in my eyes.

There is how the game is probably supposed to be played, then there is how our kids play with them. The characters look just as they do in the video game. They stand well and can all be balanced on the stand with a little maneuvering. The mix of 2 good guys and 2 villains is great to create the traditional Mario saves Peach setup. In our house they will get played with simply as familiar figurines to use in addition with other toys. Bottom line, they are nice looking classic video game figures (whether or not you use the dice and balancing scenarios is up to you.)

It's a game but not a fun one for us - figures are great though.

So I don't know what most toddlers are like; I only have the one but this feels boring for a 3-4 year old. I am hard pressed to see it as fun for anything beyond that as well. Build quality on this one is nice. The game functions how it is intended its just not really engaging to play. Where this shines and it's sadly too much to fully justify it; is the figures. The figures are so cute and well done. We have at least salvaged the item from that alone. With that said though I'd just order the big set of figures they offer and skip the game maybe.

These games are really cute and a lot of fun! Decently made. Make cute decorations when not playing them too!

Decent set

As others have mentioned, the adorable figures are really the best part of this set. They are super cute and look just like what you'd find in the game. However, there are plenty of those available already, and I have many others just like them. The balancing aspect is pretty lame, so it's difficult to justify the price for these. Overall, it's a cute set, but the game is basic.
