Perfect fix for my furnace woes
Had a problem with my ignition circuit on the house furnace. The flame would start/light and then kick out 10 seconds later. This probe uses the flame as an ionic path to let the ignition module know the flame has started and it can proceed with fueling the burners. The old one did not work and this was my first step to solving the issue. This piece did the trick, and we had heat instantly that night. Perfect product and seller

Works just Fine!!!
Good Replacement! These sensors only last a few years so I always keep a spare on hand along with a spare Igniter also .

White Rogers Flame sensor worked great on Vailant Boiler
Our 1991 Vailant Boiler, Model GA92-140 HSI original flame sensor finally started giving us problems earlier this year. I removed it & cleaned the tip area exposed to the flame with scotch brite & re-installed it & got the boiler back working again. Started looking for a replacement flame sensor & soon realized finding an exact replacement (for an European Boiler no longer in business in USA) flame sensor wasn't going to happen! Measured overall length of OEM flame sensor & began looking for a replacement. Thought this flame sensor was a match, however after being shipped from Amazon I discovered it didn't match up to old flame sensor length. (the big difference was the measurement from mounting bracket to end of tip, not overall length) decided to keep it & wait until boiler acted up again, which happened about 7 months later. Replaced flame sensor & hot surface igniter at same time. The longer flame sensor didn't hit any obstruction so I figured it should be o.k. Numerous literature mentioned cutting the flame sensor to match lengths, but I didn't want to take a chance on breaking it. This White Rogers flame sensor works great! If your having problems with a gas fired boiler (or furnace) take a close look at the flame sensor, as it may be the cause of your problems. Just clean the tip area with scotch brite & re-install it & try running again. There is no easy way for the average home owner to test a flame sensor, as most volt/ohm testers do not read current in milliamperes/millivolts.
