A new hobby
The first one purchased didn’t work at full capacity so we had it replaced. The replacement was delivered quickly. We make amazing jerky that people beg for as well as some dried cherries for granola. I’ve added this to the checklist for homesteading. It doesn’t take up a great deal of space and has just enough room to make the right portion sizes. Not too much and not too little.

Quiet on Lower Settings and Gets the Job Done Eventually
Not the most powerful thing in the world, and the fan will start to make loud grinding noises if you leave it on high for too long. That being said, slow and steady wins the race here - if you're willing to leave this on a lower setting for longer, it's basically just a steady little white noise machine

Great dehydrator
This food dehydrator is exactly what I was looking for. I am currently growing gourmet mushrooms and it sets and preserves them perfectly! If you like uncle ben’s than this may be a great budget option for you ????

Easy to use, easy to clean, great machine!
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband but mostly ended up using it myself. So far we have made fruit leather, jerky, and apple chips, so it works for a wide range of things. It's also very easy to clean. My two issues with this product are minor but i feel i should include them because I may have bought a different model if I had known. The temperature options on the dial say 94-104, 113-195, 140-158, so it is very hard to get the exact temperature you need. The other issue is that if your making anything that may drip (fruit leather, marinated jerky) you will likely want to use a special mat or parchment paper on each layer, i used parchment paper for this, it was VERY difficult to cut the paper freehand to be the right size for the circle with another circle in the middle. So if you do buy this machine (which i still think is a great buy if you won't be using it heavily) you may want to make sure to also get the mats that are already cut out for it.

my first dehydrator
Appears to work as described, this is my first use of a dehydrator, and I have no baseline to compare it with. Seems to take a long time to fully dehydrate the onions that I used it for but I am satisfied with the results.

Works good for fruits and veggies
I’ve dehydrated oranges, peppers, and limes so far. The highest setting is 150 so it was a little slow going but still worked wonderful for the items i dehydrated.
