Takes some Technique

This is, essentially, a battery operated corkscrew. The appearance is very cool, sleek and modern. Batteries are included. However though it is battery operated it is not automatic. You must position correctly and apply presdure. My first bottle was a disaster with a broken cork. Care in positioning 3.5 stars makes a world of difference. I do wish it had more oomph. The power is almost feeble. Still when it works it is impressive.

Awful wine opener

I bought 2 of these for Xmas presents. Thankfully I opened them to check them out before wrapping them. The first one came apart as soon as I held it - the device is inside of a metal cylinder which came lose, exposing the inside. The batteries it came with were already dead. I returned that one, and the other, which looked ok, I kept. After the first one, I decided to try using the 2nd one on a bottle to see if it would work. The batteries were again dead, so I replaced them. I tried it on a bottle, and it wouldn't go all the way down the cork, so it came up stuck half way. I had to remove the cork with a regular cork screw. Don't waste your money on this product!!! Now I have to try to return the 2nd one too!

I like it better than the more expensive model

This Rabbit corkscrew is better than the more expensive “rechargeable” version. (I own both) It operates easily and ejects the cork better than the rechargeable one. To find fresh batteries is easy for me, but to find a dumb little cable is near impossible. I only wish the included foil cutter stored on this opener via magnet on the top. That would be a good future upgrade suggestion. As is, the foil cutter is separate and does not store on the unit.

Simple to Use, Looks Very Neat and Modern on the Counter

This Rabbit R1-17910 Electric Corkscrew is perfect. I really like that it's battery operated vs. plug-in, so that I don't have to worry about having cords or a recharging base to deal with (I use rechargeable batteries). This is a single button, single press cork remover, and it works great. I like the slim look and clean design, and it barely takes up any room on the wine shelf.

Much better than the manual corkscrew!

This is the first powered cork screw that we have owned. Prior to this we have used the traditional manual method which is a pain. I didn't realize how nice and easy powered corkscrews could be until we got this one. It really does work like a charm and is so easy anyone could do it. This would be especially helpful for people with arthritis or other issues that make it hard for them to manually pull out a cork. We have used this a ton of times and it just works. Definitely something all wine lovers should have!

Makes enjoying wine so easy!

I love electric wine bottle openers like this one because there's no hassle opening those bottles. Plus it makes saving the cork easy because I've been known to break a few corks when eagerly opening my bottles. I'm thankful that this came with batteries because nobody likes having to go get them before using their new fun item/toy. This is definitely going to get a lot of use at my place. :)
