A Miracle for a Single Working Mother

I gifted this to my mother as an early Christmas gift and, man, does she love it. It cleans the house amazingly and picks up a lot that we couldn’t clean up ourselves with a broom. You can program it to just do the edges of your house, take a random path, or clean a certain spot where it will spin in a circle and slowly expand outward. Of course it sucks that you can’t program a SPECIFIC path for it, but for the price you can’t really complain. I do warn those, however, if you have a dusty house like we do, and your bot magically decides not to turn on or charge, make sure to check the bottom and wipe off the dust on the golden plates. Our house was extremely dusty from us not being able clean up due to school and work, so this may not apply to some people out there, but always keep that in mind in case one day it just decides to not respond. Another con was that it does seem to need a little help to find it’s charging port. You kinda have to make sure it’s close by and maybe direct it in the right direction. Otherwise it docks itself happily. We still need to try out the mopping feature, but I’ll make sure to update this review when we do!

Bless it’s heart

Oh I was so excited for this little guy. However I very quickly realized that little Deebot was not the sharpest tool in the shed. The suction power is wonderful on tile, laminate and area rugs, especially considering I have a dog and cat that shed like crazy (along with myself). But little Deebot will vacuum over the same areas and room for an hour, while missing most of the rest of the house. He loves to try to climb over things (transitions, cords) only to cry for help when he gets stuck. And he cannot, for the life of him, EVER find his way home when he needs to charge. This means he just dies somewhere in the house, which usually ends up being somewhere unreachable like under the bed or couch or in the back corner of a closet. It has created a fun game in our house called “where the heck is the vacuum?!” But little Deebot means well, and I truly believe he’s trying his best. You might want to consider training before purchasing him. As a special education teacher, I really relied on my experience to remain calm and encouraging while handling Deebot. Best of Luck! I have never used the mopping feature because after 5 months I still have yet to have all of my floors swept.

Not the greatest from ecovac

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the N79S last spring and LOVE it. I’d have to clean it about every two- three days, sometimes is could even go longer. I have a long haired dog and two cats so it was doing lots of work every day. With that in mind, I decided to get this model and move my old one upstairs since the new one has the mopping function. I’ve had nothing but problems with this newer version. I don’t think it picks up on carpet like the other one, it’s always getting stuck on higher raised items ( the old one doesn’t so that), the new one can never find it’s charging station... probably because it’s only ever tried like 3 times in 3 months because it’s always getting stuck! I haven’t even tried the mopping function because I’m so frustrated with this thing. Lately it will act like it’s vacuuming and then it’ll stop spinning it’s brushes but it’ll still move forward. I’ll attach a video. The app says “Main Brush Tangled” this main brush is NEVER tangled. I’ve tried resetting and turning off and on but literally every day I’m getting this darn error. Then eventually the whole machine just quits (again not finding its charger). I MIGHT have found a small fix. I’ll flip the vacuum over and take a wet q-tip to the little camera sensors and clean this off. I’m doing this I can sometimes get 10-30min if uninterrupted clean time. Again, my old one never had so many problems! For over $200 I cannot believe how poor this machine works.

Muy bueno en relación calidad precio

Con mas de 6 meses de uso puedo decir que es un buen producto y la calidad que pone ecovacs en el mismo es muy buena; es practico y fácil de usar; en la aplicación se puede configurar horarios e incluso la potencia; tiene muy buena duración de batería y cuando esta se le acabe va directo a su estación; los distintos modos de limpieza son buenos y prácticos; la opción de mopping puede que sea algo básica, pero siempre se agradece la incluya. Claro, también tiene sus falencias, y es que si las habitaciones de tu casa están algo separadas puede que el robot divague mas en un lado que en otro y cuando se le acabe la batería puede que le cueste llegar e incluso a veces ni llegue a su base, pero siento que este tipo de cosas se vuelven nimiedades si tomas en cuenta la calidad del producto y el precio que pagas por él. Si tal vez buscas que haga algo mas específico puedes ver los distintos productos de ecovacs, pero todo esto va de la mano con lo que estes dispuesto a pagar.

not so great

The media could not be loaded. This is the first time i bought a robot vacuum and i wanted it to be both vacuum and mopping ability and i am truly impressed by the build and quality of deebot, as soon as i picked it up from packaging it felt heavy and strong. Although pricing could have been a bit better, but quality is by far strong. I started cleaning my main floor and it has a lot of furniture different carpet area and Tile area. So one of the best things i liked about the robot is it didn't matter which floor type it just kept at it. After about more than an hour of cleaning about 900 sq ft overall area of my 2 living rooms, kitchen, foyer & dining area it was recharging time, but i am impressed by the battery capacity as well, it ran for almost 90 mins. It accumulated a lot of dust, hair and small to medium sized garbage. Sometimes i have to put it on the spot mode to pick up a lot of garbage which is in the high foot traffic areas as it was very easy to operate the bot with the app or remote it came with. Best part about the bot is that it navigates itself back to the charging station if you click home button on the remote or if the battery is running over. No need to pick up and plug in for charging. Once the clean was done emptying the trash is also easy as i just pulled and dumped into trash can. i am really happy with my purchase of deebot. I haven't yet tried the mopping ability of the robot but soon once i try it i will update with the video and the ability of it and how well does it mop. edit - July 2nd. After trying the mopping function i dont feel this is worth $800 as moppng is very basic and it doesnt even scrup its just wetting the floor with water that pour in the tank. I can buy another irobot mopping one for $200 and vacuum for $200 which is half the cost of this 1 robot as i have to change the attachment anyways. i would rather have 2 different ones and not change any attachments and just keep it running on schedule

Worst ever robot cleaner and pathetic after sales service

This is my first robot since I moved to a bigger house. I have used it 3 times in last 3 days and so far I am liking it. It sweeps and mops both and is very easy to use Update: This product was working fine for a week then it start to drip water when mopping and the suction speed got slow. I contacted numerous times at their support centre and no one contacted me back and kept on saying the level 2 manager Sheldon would get back to me. Pathetic after sales service, pathetic quality of the robot. Luckily the item broke within 30 day period so i can return it or I would have wastes my 900 bucks. Don't waste money on it

Horrible clean

This vacuum does a horrible job picking up stuff, it doesnt have any suction power and it bumps into every wall and keeps cleaning the same place over and over again until I stop it.
