Great looking comfortable pair of booties
I wear these boots all the time when it's cool enough to wear jeans. They are sharp looking and very comfortable. I probably could have ordered half size larger and they might fit a little better, but I absolutely have no complaints about these booties. Keep up the good work, Eastland, and I'll keep buying them.

Great boot, runs a little big.
These boots are high quality, as advertised, and very comfortable. I was worried I'd need an insert since I'm mostly on my feet in these, but so far I have not. They look nice with jeans (skinny and bootcut) which is what I usually wear them with; not too formal, but professional enough for an office/outdoor job. I would not consider these hiking type boots, but they're not advertised as such. My only gripe about these is the sizing - it seems to be pretty liberal and I had to send the first pair I ordered back (a size 8) because it was very loose on my foot. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 depending on the brand, and the 8's in this brand were too big. I then ordered the 7.5 and it works well enough so far, I probably could have ordered a 7 and been perfect as these should have a little stretch to the leather after wearing. I'd suggest going down 1/2 to possibly a full size from your normal shoe. Otherwise, a great boot. Edit: After a couple of months the heel on one of the boots has drastically lost support, and seems to have "gone flat" (best way I can describe it). Part of the sole on the heel (on the outside of the shoe) developed a hole and now any air cell that is in the heel is completely empty, so when I take a step my heel just squishes the sole material. It's not comfortable any more and it's throwing my legs/hips out of alignment causing some pain. I'm hesitant to buy another pair and intend to contact the manufacturer to see what the warranty is on these. Hopefully it's over 90 days because this happened shortly after 90 days of my purchase. If they don't cover this, I'd recommend not buying the shoes since a consumer should be able to expect more than 2-3 months of regular wear on an ~$80 pair of shoes. Edit again: Eastland shoes did a solid and replaced the boots that had the heel defects I described above. They sent me a prepaid return shipping label. I was able to request a smaller size as well for the replacement, and as I suspected a size 7 in the boots fit perfectly (this is down from my usual 7.5 to 8). So far I haven't been wearing them for a couple of weeks with no problems. Five stars restored!

International travel worthy
I was looking for boots for a trip to Ireland. I knew there would be a lot of walking and likely a lot of damp weather. These boots surpassed all expectations! They were incredibly comfortable and kept my feet dry. We walked miles in Ireland and my feet were exceptionally happy in my Eastland boots.

Too wide in the heel
I really wanted to keep these boots. They are well made, and fit well - except they were too wide in the heel. Even though they seemed to fit lengthwise, my heel kept sliding up and down and around. It seemed unusual to me, so wanted to make a note of it - it was enough of an issue that I felt if I wore them a few times they would stretch, and it would really be a problem. I also need to say that I am so grateful for Amazons return policy - I wear size 11, and never ever find shoes I like in my size in the stores. Amazon makes it possible for me to find great shoes in my size, and if they don't fit, the return policy is a breeze. :)

inconsistent fits, won't last long, but they're great when they're great
I've never been a fashionable boot person; they've either felt too clompy, or not sturdy enough, or were too impractical, or too ugly, but these seem to fit the bill. The cushioning is soft enough that I can wear these all day, but they're sturdy enough to withstand snow piles on the sidewalk (though I plan to condition these with some leather oil to make sure they last). There's just enough support in the ankles without feeling tight. I'm slightly worried that the elastic will start to stretch out, with taking these on and off, but I'm hopeful I'll get 2-3 years out of them.

No Break In Needed
I ordered these boots last minute before I headed to NYC and I'm so glad I did. I checked out a ton of different walking boots and shoes but these got the best reviews and they were right. It's true to size and the leather is soft enough not to have to break them in. I walked over 6 miles every day that I was there and not one blister. No sore spots. I did bring along an arch support insole and used that on the 3rd day. I wear a size 7 so I ordered a 7.5. I'm really happy with this purchase. I usually have to send shoes back.

These are great - wear them all day.
This is my second pair of these. I also have them in black and I like them so well I wanted to make sure I had at least one more pair of them while I could still find them. I have medical problems that give me major difficulty with my feet and I use a wheelchair most of the time when I am away from the house. But the padded insole helps cushion the soles of my feet. The fact that there are no laces to deal with and no tongue of the shoe to cut across (and hurt) the top of my foot make a huge difference. They slip on easily but don't come up so high that I have difficulty with it and the sole is very stable and helps me with my balance.

Eastland Women's Double up Black Boots : Happy Customer!
I love these boots! They are now my go to boot to wear, had them for a few weeks now. So glad I decided to get them when they went on sale, for leather boots I think I got a great deal! Well made and super comfortable with no break in required. I usually wear a 9-9.5 and have a slightly wider foot, so ordering boots before trying them on can be a hit or a miss. I ordered the size 9 and they fit great, a little snug at first at the top(wide foot) but since they are leather they will mold to my feet over time. The pull tab is great to help get them on. I walked all day in these boots when I first got them and my feet weren't sore at all, unlike my dr.marten which took forever to break in. I'd definitely recommend this brand of boots, will probably purchase the Ida boot next!

These are great! Fit is perfect (same size I always wear). They look exactly like the picture and are very easy to put on and take off. Its winter here and I wore them this morning for the first time. They did not seem slippery and seem to have great traction in the snow and ice. So glad I ordered these!
