One small thing to know about installation

The rod holders are sturdy and seem to be well made. I just ordered another set for other side of boat. Small thing I found to be troublesome on installation. The instructions said drill a 1/16 guide hole for screws. I followed instructions and twisted the head off the first screw in my aluminum boat. Ended up using a much larger bit for the screws. Either the screws are of low quality or the instructions should be updated. Not a big thing and certainly did not spoil them for me but just delayed my installation until I got thing sorted.

Excellent Rod Holder

Mounted it to the wall in my van. Works great the rods stay in place even on bumpy roads.

Worked way better than expected!

Installed these on the side of my boat's live-well so I could get my "just in case" rods off the boat floor. Since they are made to hold large and small rod sections, I broke the rods down and was able to fit them all within the 4' live-well's width. Another problem solved.

Very good fishing rod holder solution

These rod holders were mounted on the aluminum bracket that strengthens the seats that span across the interior (Beam), along one side of a 14 foot aluminum fishing boat I purchased. As such they were exposed to the elements year round. Although they showed signs of use they have really held up well. I've had other types made of foam and they didn't hold up over time. These are made of rubber, are rugged and just plain work. They are a very good solution for compact storage for up to 6 rods in your boat all season long. They keep the rods secure with velcro straps during transport and out of the way while on the water. Getting to your rods quickly is a snap with these. Very easy to install. I bought these to replace the old ones in my other boat. Would definitely recommend these if you are looking for a rod storage solution in your boat.

Sturdy

Purchased for husband to use in his boat, because of the price I figured it was a waste of money. But to my surprise he said that they are great loved them working well for him better than the others he had in the past. He would and has recommended.

Works Great!

Bought this as a rod holder in my small boat. It works just as I hoped. I left the Velcro off as I’m not interested in securing my fly rods during transport of my boat. I wanted the option to have several fly rods strung up and out of the way while on the water. This does the trick perfectly.
