1460 Pascal s prednjim patentnim zatvaračem je ženska čizma s 8 ušica s tonama čvrstog doktorskog stava, uključujući dva načina zakopčavanja — vezice i patentni zatvarač. Sve je počelo u blizini Münchena u Njemačkoj 1945. godine kada je dr. Klaus Maertens ozlijedio stopalo u nesreći na skijanju u bavarskim Alpama. Do 1959. njih dvoje su odlučili da trebaju tvrtku za proizvodnju i distribuciju cipela, koja se tada zvala Dr. Maertens, u drugim dijelovima svijeta. Isprva su mnogi proizvođači odbacili koncept potplata sa zračnim jastukom kao kratkotrajni trik. Međutim, R. Griggs Group, smještena u selu Wollaston u Engleskoj, odlučila je poći s tom idejom kreiranjem prve radne čizme s revolucionarnim potplatom. Prvog travnja 1960. proizvedena je prva radna čizma s osam otvora crvene boje trešnje i nazvana je 1460. Kako bi se ime robne marke bolje prodavalo u Engleskoj, naziv je angliciziran u Dr. Martens. Asortiman je bio označen kao AirWair i ostalo je povijest.

Love these!

I knew before buying these that they were not going to be the best comfort wise and that it takes awhile to break in. I sized up, but I kind of wish I didn’t now because I learned that if you take the soles out it’ll give your feet more space to break them in better. So anyone wanting to purchase these or who did purchase them and showing feet pics of how much the docs cut into their feet, take the soles out and wear with thick socks. I was able to wear them at a concert last night and stand/walk around for 5+ hours and my feet were totally fine. Before I took the soles out, I got the same marks on my feet so I am so glad I googled ways to break in doc martens. Also, keep in mind that docs can take months to break in, depending on how often you wear them. But thick socks will be your best friend when wearing these in the beginning.

First Impressions - Will Update

I received mine last night, so I will write more when I wear them later. First Impressions: Took about a month to arrive, from China. The box it came in is not an original box. The single sheet of shoe paper inside the box had DM logos but was ripped up. Only one of the boots had paper inside the toe, someone must have tried on one of the shoes and then returned them. Luckily, no signs of wear. Inside, it does have a QA sticker which is a good sign. Nothing spelled wrong on the label. But there were no tags or anything either. Just the boots in a generic box with a sheet of ripped packing paper. This is my first pascal and nappa DM, also my first non-bex. The leather feels cheap, if it is leather, and the sole seems weak/bendy. Tbh, my cheap pair of boots from target seem better constructed. The stitching looks different than my other pairs, maybe it’s a fake, or maybe it’s a different style. If you have the money, just buy directly from the DM website. I had an Amazon gift card from Christmas so it was worth the risk of them being fakes for me.

Almost Perfect

Ugh. I've been drooling over these boots for quite a while. When they were delivered, I was heartbroken with how freaking tight the top is(where the tongue is sewn onto the boot.) I'm waiting for a boot stretcher thing to be delivered... hopefully that helps the issue. I'll update when I either break 'em in or return. **update** I have used boot stretch spray & boot stretchers. That helped immensely. After that, I put them on & heated up that tight spot with my blow dryer. I was finally able to wear them!! Still a tad tight, but after I couple more days they'll be perfect.

Defective Zipper

Love this boots.I, a big fan of Dr. Martens and I do own a few. When I saw this one with zipper,I purchased it right away. I like to travel in my docs and with the zipper it’s easier going through airport security.The first pair I got,the zipper was defective. I returned it immediately. The bought it again but noticed the price went up from 115.00 to 124.00 and if you buy it today,the price is 133.00. Excuse me Amazon? Price gauging? No no no! I called and complained and got my refund for increased charge.

Zippers saving time and serving looks

Super high quality Dr. Martens. I took the zipper plates off the top laces and only use the side zipper, which is VERY convenient and stylish. No more bending over and lacing your boots at the door awkwardly trying to leave a gathering. Zip and go. Note: if you have a tall or high arch to your foot, prepare for the agony of where the boot will press. I’m breaking them in and slowly seeing improvements, but as someone with a very curvy high arch to my foot - it is ROUGH. I remember being able to slide Coke cans into them to stretch the top in the late 1990s, but now where the toe box meets the laces they’re so low you can’t even get a can in there. Worth it though, in my opinion, once it breaks in!!!

Perfect fit!

These are my first pair of Dr. Marten boots and I’m so happy with them! They are nice and wide and are a little on the larger side of an 8 but I’m ok with that! They are like any other Docs and need time to soften up. I’ve been wearing them for about two weeks and they are finally giving a little. It’s going to take a few more weeks but they are so beautifully made, that it will be well worth the break in time! A definite buy if you’re thinking about them!

Too tight on the top of my foot

Boots were beautiful, but unfortunately I have a high instep. I struggled to get them on and then they were painfully tight on the top of my foot.

Very Cute!

Nice looking boot. The boot is better in person than in the pictures. The size is good(8) but a little snug at the bridge of your foot...keep that in mind if you wear thick socks. You might want to size up if you do. Just from walking around my house they are less stiff and less tight at the top of my foot...hopefully they will ease up even more with wear. I have a few different pairs of Docs but these ones are definitely my favourite right now. The zipper at the front mixes it up a bit.

Best boots I’ve ever worn!

I have nothing negative to say about the boot. Fits perfectly. I ordered my normal size and they fit like a glove. The quality is excellent. They are so comfortable I almost wore them to bed the first night I got them! Highly recommend and great price too!

Excellent boots. Crap amazon!!!!

I purchased these boots which did not fit I'm a half size so took a chance. Got a 6 which is no good. Need a 7. I will say i have wide feet too. Buts are very well made!! Stunning and can be returned to laces only. AMAZON!!! As they did not fit i exchanged for a bigger size. Amazon still haven't fulfilled my order as they no longer have stock. No message to say this and no warning when processing the exchange. The boots are now almost double the price but with another seller. Amazon has just offered a wait for them or cancel!!! Been weeks and still nothing. I am gutted. Bad form amazon!!!

Beautiful but it’s really tight in the beginning.

It’s really tight when you first get it but with a few uses the leather starts to loosen up. It does have a detail on the tongue inside that hurts a little, like an excess?? Idk about this, might cut it out ????????‍♀️ Beautiful boots anyway, love it! And the zipper makes it so easy to put on!
