Aluminum free deodorant

The Dove men deodorant comes in a pack of three and is a pretty decent deodorant. It definitely has a lot lighter smell than other deodorant products out there, but it does keep my armpits from smelling all day. I love that they have finally moved away from aluminum and are offering this more natural deodorant. At a price of over $20 for a set of three sticks of deodorant, I would say it’s a bit pricey. I would expect to save a bit buying in bulk.

Difficult cap, boring scent

The manufacturer's description of the scent sounded amazing: cardamom vanilla and leather. Unfortunately this scent reads as late 80s men's cologne from the drugstore. It's so heavy on the leather note that nothing else comes through. It's a very masculine cologne scent that lasts all day. I was hoping for a more unique scent. The cap drives me up a wall, honestly. I have grip strength issues and it is really hard to get the cap open. It requires both squeezing and pulling at the same time. I can definitely see the benefit because I'm confident that the cap wouldn't come off in a gym bag or backpack. As for the formula, it is very moisturizing. There are no white streaks or oil spots on my dark clothing and it washes off easily. Although it is strongly scented, there is no irritation. For me, the formula is great...the scent not so much.

Not Impressed, Sticky Feeling

This deodorant does not work for me. Sticky feeling under arms. After 12 hours, this product does not seem to protect from odor. Other white stick products work much better.

Cool Going On

We've always been a Dove family. Their soap is the one we always have in the house. We've used Dove soap almost exclusively for over 20 years and have also appreciated their other products so we thought this might be a good one to try out. I really like the aluminum-free products Dove has come out with. The one feels cool and smooth going on. It has a white color to it but it feels like a gel stick going on. I like the scent. It is difficult to place but I'd say it is something like a fresh forest smell. Not woodsy, more on the tropical side. Overall happy with the "Dove Men+Care Deodorant Stick For Men Foresta Sunset 3 Count Aluminum Free 72-Hour Odor Protection Mens Deodorant With Essential Oils & 1/4 Moisturizing Cream 3oz".

Loving the more Aluminum Free update

If you are looking for a way to keep your pits all clean and fresh smelling all day, look no further. Inside of this package you get 3 individually sealed Dove Deodorant sticks. I love how these are advertised as Aluminum Free as we get more health conscious why would you want Aluminum in on your armpits along with clogging up your ducts. The smell on on the Foresta Sunset is very fresh and earthy. I love how it smells like strong cologne which helps with all the smelly pits. The deodorant is not fully white and chalky, but more translucent and does spread onto your pits evenly. If you are looking for a more Aluminum Free option than your regular drug store deodorant this is a great option.

If you like the smell of outdoors, this is for you

Dove is moving to the nature loving fragrances on their deodorants and while I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite, it’s not half bad either. It’s not a generic smell, but rather very specific, so I almost feel like you need to be in the mood to wear it… like choosing a cologne fragrance for the evening. The effectiveness of the deodorant is above average, but not sure it is on the level of Schmidt’s or Native, but you will probably get a good 18-24 hours out of it, if you perspire. I’m not wowed by the wet glide of the product because I feel like it needs to dry or most of it will end up on my shirt. The other side of this is it does seem to work for sensitive skin in moderation. So I guess there are benefits and cons here.

Broke out like crazy under arms

Don’t be like me, just get normal deodorant you won’t smell weird and you won’t break out like crazy like I did

Works well

I know this is a men’s deodorant, but I like it for myself as well! I like that it comes in a pack of 3 so me and my fiancé can each have our own and then have one for when we run out. It works very well
