Beautiful looking nightstand/end table

This small and pricey nightstand is beuatifully made. Comes put together, without the handles assembled though. Very quick to attach them. The stand is made of compressed wood, so it is a little expensive for that material instead real wood. But it looks great!

Took a while shipping, and some scratches on top.

It took a while to come in about a week and a few days. I have prime but still took a while. The top have a few scratches on top but it maybe from shipping nothing big enough to return or exchange for. The rest of it looks just like the picture.(I bought the black night)

These nightstands are exactly as shown.

These nightstands were delivered in perfect condition. No scratches chips etc. the drawers slide easily and they look classy. I purchased two for my guest room. Wonderful not to have to put them together myself.

I really like the look of these but each one had a long scratch/mark on the top from side to side. Other than that they were good construction, drawers are solid.

Good buy

Beautiful out together. Only had to attach hardware. There were a couple small dings but were in back so it didn’t matter. True to color, ebony... sharp looking

"Engineered Wood" = Pressed sawdust and cardboard

Ashley Furniture used to be synonymous with quality-apparently that is no longer the case. I was excited to find these night stands on Amazon and ordered a pair as a gift. They look great and appeared to be the classic style that I was looking for. When they arrived they were mostly assembled as stated in the description. (I had to screw the handles in, which was no big deal.) As I eagerly unwrapped the first one and lifted it out of the box, my enthusiasm tanked. The top is made of pressed sawdust and covered with a shinny semigloss veneer, which was easily scratched by my silicon watch band and chipped when I accidentally hit the side of the door when bringing them into the bedroom . The molding extending from the top to the front face of the nightstands was haphazardly glued and detached when I lifted it. The sides of the nightstand are made with decent pressed wood and the seem to be of adequate quality. The drawers do slide nicely out and back, but there is a lot of side to side moving of the entire nightstand when you pull open the drawer. The bottom of the drawers are constructed of pressed cardboard and my guess is that it would not handle more than a few pounds without sagging. I am embarrassed to give these as a gift, I certainly do not want them in my bedroom and I doubt that they would last long in my child's bedroom. I have no choice but to return them. Honestly, I found better quality with IKEA furniture than I did with these Ashley Furniture Signature Design. Thankfully Amazon was very gracious and let me return them free of charge.

Quality is pretty good and sturdy. Not a cheaply made item.

I bought 2 of these night stands, and I am absolutely pleased with them. Good quality, and smooth drawer pullouts. Nice finish. Delivered on time. I would buy them again!
