Good looking shorts

My son is short and gained a little weight. He works outside and used to be a size 34 which I bought. I knew he was on a diet, but I purchased these in hopes that the waist would stretch enough to be a tight 36. Well my gamble didn't work, but they are great shorts and he says would be great once he lost some weight. He currently is a 36. I am going to keep these pants because they are something he WILL wear once he loses some weight. He is very picky! He likes the fact that the waist stretches a bit. I recommend these short because the length is perfect for a shorter guy!

My new buffet pants

You know those days when the boss announces he's taking everyone to lunch at the local Mexican restaurant and you eat a couple baskets of tortilla chips followed by a plate of amazing enchiladas, and even though you're full, you just can't say no to the free sopapilla? The elastic tabs, that are totally imperceptible on the outside, that kind of look like a kids adjustable waist make these shorts perfect for those big lunches. Or so my husband says. He likes them.

Comfortable

These shorts are awesome. I have a pair of Dickies I bought at Wal Mart 4 years or so ago that I really liked to work in...auto type projects and yard work. They wore like iron. These are the same except much more comfortable due to the expandable waist. Great work shorts!!

Fit

The size was a little large, I always wear a size 34 but these would have fit a 36 or 38 around the waist. These would be perfect if they were a regular fit instead of husky. Don't get me wrong these are very well made.

Almost perfect....but that flex waist is garbage and other small annoyances.

I ordered these thinking they would be exact replacements for the 5 pairs of dickies shorts i already own. They are not. They are so darn close but i hate them. That flex waist is no good. They fit properly without that and can stretch out to 5+ sizes larger. I didnt want sweat pants. The elastic in the waist will surely fail with time and makes them feel and look akward at the waistline. The old non elastic version was great. Negatives: 1. The stretch waist. Its not needed for people that know how to buy clothing in their size. 2. Belt loops are those big thick ugly ones...not the small ones like on the industrial 11 inch model. 3. the hook clasp. Its the next cheapest part aside from the elastic. 4. the back pocket button. Pointless. It should be flat with no button like the left rear. Positives: 1. The color is the classic dickies grey 2. The Fit in the waist is spot on. Perfect fit. 3. The length is spot on with my previous pairs. They are about an inch - two shorter than the 11 inch industrial model shorts. This is a perfect length and the same length as all my previous pairs (which they discontinued). Dickies please listen to your customers. These are getting returned.

Casual yet classy

My husband liked the shorts but he found it a little too broad from the legs. Although I dont think so. I love them!

The stretch waist is where it's at

These are awesome shorts. LOVE THEM. Will buy again and again. Already put in an order for another pair. Weird though that my first pair came in 2 days and the order I jut placed is going to take over a week. I can wait it out, the shorts are that good haha.
