Ahhhh, so nice to stand under

I saw one review that said the force was not enough for the person to rinse his hair properly. If you have low water pressure, that may be true. In our newly renovated bathroom, this is used in conjunction with another showerhead with a handheld option. That is what we use for the actual "washing up", the raincan is just a nicety that makes the shower more relaxing. We prefer a gentle wash, not a stinging power wash. With the use of a diverter valve, we have a choice of the handheld, the raincan, or both. It may be acceptable as the only showerhead, but as a secondary, it is p;ure luxury to feel a deluge of warm water over your body. I's starting the renovation of the other bathroom and will have another there also.

Perfect remodel showerhead!!!

We remodeled our bathroom and needed a Rain shower head and noticed that there are many choices.The RP52382 was the one we picked and boy are we glad we did. We removed the water restricter to get extra water flow. Make sure you are careful when you do this as not to harm the rest of the shower head body (easy to do with a basic tool). What we enjoyed about this shower head vs some of the others we tested and have used at friends house is that it provides a nice solid spread out stream of rain vs a harsh or variable rainfall. Also it looks beautiful in our shower and really brings the whole remodel together. This could work on a shower arm or in a ceiling installation with no issue!

This thing works great. But I removed the government nanny plug that restricts the water flow. To do this are you going to use an adjustable wrench, hold the shower head while placing the wrench on the nut for the connector and turn it counterclockwise you will hear a lot of cracking and popping when you do so, making you think that you're breaking stuff but you are not It's just a device used by the manufacturer to keep you from removing the plug. So continue turning counterclockwise until you can remove the connector. Once you have removed the connector take it apart. Use a punch and a hammer and on solid surface turn the ball stem upside down and with a slight tap of the hammer the plug pops out. Pow the restrictor will be gone reinstall the connector install shower head and enjoy a wonderful shoower. REMEMBER: You need never use gorilla force either on removal or reinstallation. If it feels like its going to break it will. if

Full Drenching Experience

This Raincan Shower Head is exactly what we were looking for in that it feels like a total drenching while you wash and shampoo. It came ready to install, all nice with a shiny finish. It is wider or bigger than expected. We didn't remove any water re-stricter. We don't have great water pressure but this didn't hamper the flow that we got with this head. My husband is a foot taller than me so using the Delta Faucet UA902-PK 10-inch Adjustable arm was a perfect solution to raise it up and down. He even needed to tilt it at an angle but still enjoyed a drenching shower experience. This is our best purchase of the year.

Best rainforest type shower head for the $

We wanted a rainforest type shower head but our contractor warned us that many do not have a strong enough spray to wash out shampoo, etc. He recommended this style and we couldn’t be happier. This is a perfect blend of rainforest and traditional stream. Not harsh but strong enough to rinse all the soap and shampoo away. Also affordable compared to some others. We had him install it with an extension so that we can stand under it when pointed straight down.

Surprised

Was easy to install although instructions were missing - could have been lost when it went though customs. I did not remove flow reduction valve and it works well. It apparently has a lifetime warranty (not sure exactly what this means. Giving it a 4 until I see how it works after 6 months. The last one I had failed in 4 months (it was a different brand).. The cost was well below some of the others that I looked (e.g., Moen)

Nice shower head! Used it to build a custom shower with a hand-held

I used this Delta rain shower head, along with a few other items, to build a really nice custom shower head with a hand-held. I also was able to raise the height of my shower. Delta is a great company that stands behind their customer service. This is a well-made product. Pressure is good (I have thick hair and it rinses shampoo out, no problem). All-in-all I think this all looks pretty nice! (see photos). No plumber required and I only had to put make one hole in the grout between my tile!
