Very happy with this faucet

I bought this faucet to replace a Moen that, like its Moen predecessors, had worn out after only a few years of light use. Tired of throwing my $ down that particular rat hole, I decided to give Delta a whirl. My first step was to choose a faucet for which there existed a good how-to video on YouTube, which is how I arrived at this particular model. To my surprise, I got the old faucet out fairly easily (I suppose the silver lining to the Moen faucet's lack of durability is that its nuts hadn't had time to freeze in place), and this Delta slid in clean as a whistle. The only tricky part was getting the base plate and escutcheon to stay lined up evenly while tightening the lines from underneath the sink, but I figured it out. The pre-attached pex supply lines with compression fittings were so pleasant & easy to deal with! Now that it's in, the faucet works smoothly and looks nice on my sink. Well done, Delta!

good quality

Functionally, it is a very good faucet. I would have made the base plate from thicker brass if I was designing it, since the rest of the faucet is so solidly produced. In general, I am happy with it.

Delta Bellini Faucet

Whats good, looks nice. Whats bad: Expensive. Everything below the sink that you don't see is plastic. Installation easy but design of the hose connections are poor. Hoses to the faucet rotate when you move the faucet left or right so I don't know how long their connections to the valve control will last. Sprayer hose is too short, should be at least 12 inches longer. When pulled out it bends the plastic hoses from the faucet control. Poor design. Lifetime warranty, but probably won't last 10 years. Drips if not shut off exactly at the center between hot and cold. Would I buy another, no, but the wife likes the looks of it above the sink.

Beautiful faucet

This was a good price for this faucet and it came quickly. I looks gorgeous. I chose not to install the side sprayer--I didn't need it and they just cause problems. I've only had it installed for a couple of weeks, but I love it so far.

Wish it had fit

I wanted a new kitchen faucet with a high arch like this. Unfortunately, it does not fit a 1/2 inch iron pipe water supply connection. My plumber gave me a quote of $400. parts and labor to modify it. I returned it.

Easy

I had no trouble at all installing this in my kitchen. It looks nice and is affordable. I would recommend using plumbers putty.

Nice basic Delta

This is a nice smooth faucet. Clean design, nice weight, and well built. Sometimes the name brand doesn't mean anything but this Delta is a very nice Delta.

Installed recently but like what I see so far. 3 hole Delta 140-DST

Used this Delta facet to replace a 15 year old Moen that was in rough shape. The centre hole was a little tight to get all the water lines thru. The water spout moves easily and smoothly through a 180 degree range. The single lever tap is precise and easy to operate. When I switch from cold to hot and vice versa it responds quickly. I added under counter shut-off valves and short braided lines to my installation. My stainless steel sink has a small lip around the outside edge so I had to trim a little off the back of the gasket so it would not cause the facet to lift up at the back. All is good. Sorry I waited so long. Now I have 3 Deltas in my house and recommend them all.
